🌟 About Jadavpur University & Its Role in Innovation


Jadavpur University traces its roots back to 1906, when it was established as Bengal National
College, a part of India’s Swadeshi movement. The institution later evolved into Jadavpur
University in 1955. Today, JU has become a hub of scientific research, technology transfer,
and startup incubation, producing pioneers in fields like AI, deep tech, and social
entrepreneurship. Many Bengal startup leaders have their origins at JU, contributing to India’s
innovation ecosystem.
