SCENE 1: JACKIE’S

(Upbeat party music thumps in the background. Neon lights

flicker, casting a glow on the lively crowd. JACKIE, sits at the
bar, sipping an expensive cocktail. She’s dressed in a trendy
outfit, casually scrolling through her phone.)

Bartender: Isa pa, Miss Jackie?

Jackie (Jermane): Yes please, make it stronger this time.

(smirks, handing over her card)

(She takes a sip, barely acknowledging a text from “Boy 1”

Another message pops up from “Boy 2.” She rolls her eyes and
locks her phone.)

Friend 1: Two guys in a day, Jackie? Seriously? Hindi ka ba

nagsasawa?

Jackie (Jermane): (Smirks) Three actually, but who cares? Let’s

just dance!

(Jackie is now on the crowded dance floor, hair down, moving with
confidence. She’s in the center of attention, arms in the air,
eyes closed, fully lost in the music. Her FRIENDS cheer her on,
hyping her up.)

Friend 2: (Shouting over the music) Burn that body! The music is
so you!

Friend 1: That’s the Jackie I know!

(Jackie opens her eyes and spots a guy across the dance floor—Boy
1. She smirks and keeps dancing, knowing she has his full
attention. Then, from the other side, Boy 2 enters the scene,
also watching her. Jackie, completely unfazed, simply winks
before turning away and dancing even more.)

CUT TO:

INT. CLASSROOM - DAY

(The classroom is buzzing with low murmurs as the PROFESSOR walks

around, handing back graded exams. Jackie, slumped in her seat,
wears sunglasses, lazily chewing gum. Her FRIEND nudges her awake
just as the paper lands on her desk)
Professor: Miss Serrano,another failing grade. Sigurado ka bang
interesado ka pang gumraduate?

(Jackie glances at the paper, unimpressed. She folds it and

shoves it inside her bag like it’s a random flyer.)

Friend 1:(whispers) Bes, ilang bagsak mo na ‘yan?

Jackie:(smirks, whispering back) Chill, hindi naman nila ako

papabagsakin for real.

(The professor overhears and shoots her a sharp look.)

Professor: Miss Serrano, if you keep this up, you won’t just fail
this subject—you won’t be graduating at all.

(Jackie just shrugs and pulls out her phone. Her friend sighs,
shaking their head.)

FADE IN:

INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - DAY

(Students gather in a circle, shouting and recording on their

phones. In the middle, JACKIE and GIRL 1 are in a heated
argument. GIRL 2 and GIRL 3 stand behind GIRL 1, backing her up.)

GIRL 1: Ano, Jackie? Feeling untouchable ka? Hindi ka naman

special!

Jackie: (smirks, crossing her arms) Oh, talaga? Eh bakit affected

ka masyado?

GIRL 2: You think you can do whatever you want? Lahat ng tao sawa
na sa ugali mo!

(Jackie rolls her eyes, scoffing.)

Jackie: Ganyan talaga ‘pag inggit. Try harder next time.

(GIRL 1 lunges at Jackie, grabbing her hair. The crowd erupts in

gasps and shouts. Jackie fights back, pushing her. Teachers rush
in to break them apart.)

TEACHER: Enough! Sa guidance office, ngayon din!

CUT TO:
INT. GUIDANCE OFFICE - LATER

(Jackie sits on a chair, arms crossed, looking bored. Across from

her, GIRL 1 sits with arms folded, fuming. The GUIDANCE COUNSELOR
sighs, looking at both of them.)

GUIDANCE COUNSELOR: This is unacceptable behavior. Jackie, this

isn’t the first time you’ve been in trouble.

(Jackie shrugs, unbothered.)

Jackie: Eh siya naman nauna

(GIRL 1 scoffs. Just then, JACKIE’S PARENTS arrive, looking

furious.)

Dra (Jackie’s Mom/Alison): Jackie, ano na naman ‘to?!

Dad (Jackie’s Dad/Kyle):(angrily)Wala ka na namang ginawa kung

hindi gumawa ng gulo!

(Jackie rolls her eyes, slouching in her chair.)

Jackie: Here we go again.

GUIDANCE COUNSELOR: Let’s all calm down. We need to understand

why this happened—

Dra: No! Hindi ‘to first time ni Jackie! Lagi na lang siyang
ganito.

Dad: All she does is create trouble! Ikaw kaya, hindi mo siya
tinuturuan ng disiplina!

Dra: Oh, so now it’s my fault? Baka naman kasi ikaw masyado mong
pinapalampas ang mga ginagawa niya!

Dad: She’s living with me kaya ako ang bahalang dumisiplina sa

kaniya

Dra: I’ll get her out of here, and when I do, sa’kin na siya
titira!

Dad: Oh, wow! Aalis ka tas ngayon gusto mo namang kunin ang anak
ko? (Grips Lea’s wrist) No way, Lea! She stays with me, and I
will deal with her the best way I know how.
Dra: And how is that? Ikukulong mo siya kasama ng pamilya mo?
This is too much, give her a break!

Dad: She is selfish and inconsiderate! At gusto niya pa ipadala

ko siya sa ibang bansa? Paano ko siya papaaralin sa abroad kung
dito nga hindi ko siya mapagkatiwalaan?

Dra: Pumayag ka na kasi na isama ko siya sa medical mission sa

Tarlac, and I will make sure that Jackie learns her lesson
(glares at Jackie)

Jackie: What? I’ll be stuck with you? No way! Dito nalang ako

Dra: So? What do you say, Art?

(Jackie clenches her fists, glaring at them. And walks out of the
room)

SCENE 2: FIRST ENCOUNTER W KIKO (AMFEELING)

INT. JACKIE’S HOUSE – DAY

(Jackie is busy fixing her bag)

Dad: Your mom called, ipapasundo ka na raw niya

Jackie: Eto na nga po, I’ll wait outside

(Jackie steps outside and sees her brother, John, waiting for
her)

John: Are you excited, Jackie? I heard may batis daw malapit sa
area ng medical mission ni Mommy. Actually kinekwento nga niya
sa’kin ‘yung mg—(Jackie cuts him off, unimpressed)

Jackie: Ang bait mong anak, kuya ‘no? Maybe that’s the reason why
mom chose to bring you with her instead of me

John: Jackie…

Jackie: No, really. Alam mo tinatanong ko nga ‘yung sarili ko

kung ano ‘yung meron ka na wala ako. Na kung bakit ikaw lang
‘yung sinama niya nung pumunta siya ng States when she left Dad

(She puts on her sunglasses, masking her emotions, and climbs

onto the motorcycle with John. He hesitates for a moment, sensing
the weight of her words, before starting the engine.)
INT: PALENGKE – DAY

(John stops the motorcycle when Jackie speaks)

Jackie: Kuya, stop the motorcycle please. I need to pee

John: Can’t it wait? I mean malapit na tayo

Jackie: I just got my period, it can’t wait

(John sighs and pulls over near a large supermarket. Jackie

quickly steps off the motorcycle and heads toward the entrance—
her real plan unfolding in her mind: this is her chance to
escape.)

INT: LOOB NG PALENGKE

(Meanwhile, KIKO (Keith) is walking through the bustling

palengke, talking to someone on his phone. He casually glances
around, when suddenly—his eyes land on JACKIE. Time slows down.
The noise of the market fades into the background. Jackie, in all
her hurried determination, looks ethereal to him. He stops mid-
sentence, completely entranced by her face.)

MONTAGE: Kiko watches as Jackie moves through the crowd, her

presence effortlessly captivating. She tucks a strand of hair
behind her ear. She glances around, checking if John is still
outside. Kiko, still speechless, stares, his heartbeat
quickening. A small, amused smile forms on his lips.

(It was a good moment when suddenly—a SNATCHER speeds by,

grabbing Jackie’s phone from her hand. Jackie gasps, panicked.)

Jackie: Hoy! Yung phone ko! Magnanakaw!

(Kiko snaps out of his daze, his instincts kicking in as he

watches the snatcher disappear into the crowd. Without thinking,
he takes off running after the thief.)

Kiko: Akin na nga ‘yan! Hulihin niyo na ‘yan

(Jackie steps beside Kiko, looking furious as he manages to

retrieve her phone from the snatcher.)

Kiko: Ayos ah, nahuli mo agad ah

Jackie: Give me my phone! (Snatches her phone from Kiko)

Kiko: Wow! Thank you ha (sarcastically said)

Jackie: Sumama ka

(Jackie smirks, a plan forming in her mind. She suddenly

encircles her hand around Kiko’s arm.)

Kiko: Close na tayo ‘te?

Jackie: Dalhin mo ako sa pinakamalapit na bus station to Manila.

Name the price, I’ll pay you

Kiko: Sure, madam!

(They hop on Kiko’s motorcycle and speed away.)
