II- BACKGROUND
Part V- item no. 17 of DepEd Order No.34, s.2022 states that “starting November 2, 2022, all
public and private schools shall have transitioned to 5 days in-person classes. All the said date,
no school shall be allowed to implement purely distance learning or blended learning except for
those that are implementing Alternative Delivery Modes as provided for in DO 21 s, 2019
entitled “ Policy Guidelines on the K to 12 Basic Education Program” and DO 01,s.2022 entitled
“Revised Policy Guidelines On Homeschooling Program”.
At the beginning of school year 2022-2023, our school implemented No.16 letter B
(“Recognizing the Covid-19 pandemic vis-a vis person classes, the DepEd intends for school to
be given ample time to slowly transition into it by implementing any of the following options:
B. Blended Learning Modality e.g. Mondays to Thursdays (in person classes) and Friday
(distance learning). However, it is also stated from this number that this option shall only be
implemented until October 31,2022 or at the end of the First Quarter.
In line with this DepEd Order, our school has been preparing for the full face to face
implementation starting this Second Quarter of School Year 2022-2022. The following data
states that our school were well equipped to face this new challenge.
