In essence, school intramural meet provide an enriching
platform that support physical health and cultivates personal
Rationale growth, social skills, a sense of community among students.
Competing in a safe, structured environment helps students
develop qualities like resilience, determination, and self-
discipline. It is also a great way to increase student engagement
by providing students with opportunities to interact socially
with peers, which fosters a sense of belonging, positive mental
health, and greater engagement in both academic and non-
academic activities.
Intramural Meet is also strengthened and stipulated in
Section 2 of the Republic Act 10588 otherwise known as
“Palarong Pambansa Act of 2013” states that all educational
institution are therefore directed to promote physical education
and undertake regular sports activities as well as support the
local meets and the Palarong Pambansa as the primary avenue
for providing in-school sports opportunities to improve the
physical, intellectual and social well-being of the youth.
Therefore, RHTHS Intramural Meet 2023 generally
provides a holistic development platform for students
integrating physical, social, mental spiritual and emotional
growth played in a fair and healthy environment.
Produce quality and competitive athletes to compete in the
Terminal Objectives higher level of sports competition.

a. Develop the physical fitness of students but at the same time

the mental alertness, ethical qualities, emotional maturity and
constructive social abilities in order them to achieve their
maximum potential.
b. Engage in sports activities while promoting a sound mind in a
sound body in order for them to develop school spirit, loyalty,
unity, and sportsmanship.
Enabling Objectives c. Create a positive attitude in experiencing both success and
failure in an educational environment.
d. Exercise self-discipline and have a feeling of self-worth to
develop self-confidence to achieve team goals.
e. Promote, inspire and support development policy and
practices which further meet the goal of equality between
women, men and all gender under the Gender and
Development (GAD) programs, policies and activities.
f. Provide safe and supervised facilities for youth to engage in
educational programs and leisure activities which encourage the
growth of positive self-esteem stipulated in the goals of the
