VTEC System: Is a system developed to improve the volumetric efficiency of a
four-stroke internal combustion engine resulting in higher performance at high RPM,
and lower fuel consumption at low RPM I-VTEC: {Intelligent-VTEC} is a system
that combines VTEC with Honda's VTC (Variable Timing Control), a continuously
variable camshaft phasing system used on the exhaust camshaft of DOHC VTEC
engines. The technology first appeared on Honda's K-series four-cylinder engine
family in 2001. Most Honda or Acura four-cylinder powered vehicles sold in the
United States used I-VTEC by the 2002 model year with the exception being the
2002 Honda Accord.

In Honda cars there are a main two oil types
1- 5W-30 : it is used for big engines such as 2000cc or higher and also it can used for
3 months or 5000 KM
2- 5W-20 : used for Hybrid cars in general also it can be used for 10000 KM or after
6 months

Breaks oil …
The breaks oil is important for the smoothness of the break hit also it needs to be
changed regularly.
*process of changing Breaks oil :
1- Use an oil air machine to take the old oil out.
2- put the new oil in its right place.
3- to let the oil reach the breaks system push the breaks hit 3 times, every time
in the last one keep pressing while the air is out and the new oil is taking a
place.

The transmission oil is important to the gear shaft system there are two types of
transmission oil ( Automatic oil and Manual oil). Changing process is :
1-take the screw of the gearing shaft oil.
2- clean the system from the old oil.
3- put the new oil in its place.
4- tarn on the car and every three seconds change the gear ( P>D>D3>R) by

2- the place of manufacturing such as (EN) stands for Europe,
(CCA) stands for America.

Changing Breaks …
Breaks need to be checked regularly for the safety of the driver first thing to do is
looking if the brakes need to be changed or not by using a specific kit.
1-mesure the brake pads if the number is less than 6 mm that means the pads need to
be changed
2- measure the breaks disks, every disk has a different minimum number that is
usually written in on it, if the number the technician had is less than the minimum, he
can change the disks or fix them by rolling then to the regular measure in the specific
machine.

1- check if the disk needs to be fixed by comparing the number you have from
measuring with the number you have in the disk.
2-put the disk on the machine and look on the numbers from the screen
3- there is a small metal nails worked to roll the disk properly.
4- let the disk touch the nail and put the measure system on zero after you made a
small line to measure from it.
5- put the nails in the external edge of the disk and change the system numbers on
each nail to 0.4.

Engine disassemble …
Visible condition of the combustion chambers and lifter chamber, and any head
gasket leakage, can be noticed with the heads off. These conditions should be noted.
At this stage, the cylinder taper and out-of-round should be checked just below the
ridge and just above the piston when it is at the BDC. These measurements indicate
the extent of work necessary on the cylinder wall. If the cylinders are worn beyond
limits, they require re-boring to bring them back to a satisfactory condition with
recommended tolerances.

tiers are in good condition technicians change the rear with front tires and vice-versa

Camera aiming …
Aiming is important for front and rear cameras, airbags and side mirrors. The process
of aiming:
Make sure your camera sensor lens is cleanAim your mirror camera in a well-lit area
free of bright objects (such as sun-lit windows or reflectors) positioned behind the
mirror aiming target Adjust lighting as necessary to ensure the 6 dots on the 6-point
poster are visible to the camera Aim your mirror on a flat surface

Shock absorbers are an integral part of a vehicle's suspension. A shock absorber is
designed to absorb or dampen the compression and rebound of the springs and
suspension. They control the unwanted and excess spring motion. Shock absorbers
keep your tires in contact with the road at all times If there is a damaged part the
vehicle will be unbalanced or not smooth By using this tool we can change the old
springs with new one.
