IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
A. For admission to Ph.D., the marks obtained in the NET will have 70% weightage, and 30% weightage will be based on the performance in
the interview/viva voce conducted by the University/HEI concerned. The Ph.D. admission will be based on the combined merit of NET marks
and the marks obtained in the interview/viva voce.
B. The candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent examination / Four Year/8 Semester Bachelor’s Degree Programme
and are in their last semester/year are considered eligible for the admission to Ph.D. only after fulfilling the requirements contained in the
University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2022 within One year from
the date of declaration of the NET result, i.e., 17.10.2024 failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
C. The eligibility of the candidate is to be ensured by the institution. The category in which the candidate had appeared has been mentioned in
the Score Card.
D. This certificate is only valid with the Score Card of June 2024 UGC-NET which has been uploaded on the website of the NTA, i.e.,

E. This is an electronic certificate only and its authenticity can also be verified by scanning the QR Code.
