IV. ANALYSIS
LOW-COST (4-STOREY) = 2,835 SQM
WALK-UP (3 STOREY) = 1,680 SQM
HIGH-END (6 STOREY) = 1,875 SQM
TOTAL FLOOR AREA NEEDED: 6,390 +(6,390 x 0.25) = 7987.5 SQM (building foot print)
TLA: 9,670 SQM - 7987.5 SQM = 1,682.5 SQM (remaining workable space)

VII. ASSESSMENT AND CONCLUSIONS

The 60%-40% ratio of 2 and 3 bedrooms in low-cost and walk-up model buildings are
followed Assuming that there are 3 occupants for 2-bedroom and 5 occupants for 3-bedroom
units, but in the high-end units given that it is a high end the assumed users for the 2-
bedrooms are only 2 occupants and for the 3-bedrooms are only 3 occupants. all ensures the
comfortability of living in each unit.
The building footprint only takes 33% of the total lot area giving a 67% area for open spaces
and amenities that is needed for the user’s comfortability and accessibility while residing in
the housing development project.
The Analysis and computations prove that the given lot can accommodate the 2000 residents
with sufficient space for the required open spaces and amenities.
