About Us
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell (EIC) at IISER Pune fosters student
innovation and entrepreneurship. Our mission is to bridge the gap between
ideas and reality, providing a platform for students to develop and launch
startups.
Our Origins
Aditya Kabra in the year 2016 laid He was also awarded grant of Rs. 10Cr
the steeping stone to build EIC with from NITI Aayog to setup AIC Seed
the initiative for creating awareness Incubator which currently supports 20+
and building a platform for building startups. For his work in EIC he was invited

electronics. Their services are designed to provide customers
with convenient, doorstep repair options, ensuring that devices
like clock, table lamp, kitchen applications, household appliances
and power tools are fixed promptly and effectively. It offers door-
to-door pickup and drop services, making the repair process
hassle-free. The repair services are priced competitively to offer
value for your money. It believes in transparent pricing without
compromising on quality. With FixThis, one can save valuable time
that would otherwise be spent searching for repair options or
dealing with malfunctioning appliances.

StuJay is a student-led startup established by a group of
passionate individuals from IISER Pune. Our mission is to provide
educational support to those facing challenges due to language
barriers or requiring additional assistance.

About E-SUMMIT’25
Entrepreneurial Spirit at IISER Kolkata
The E-Summit at IISER Kolkata aims to foster deep-tech innovation among

students from IISERs, IISc, NISER, and CEBS. It will feature a multidisciplinary
hackathon and a high-stakes pitching competition, creating an ecosystem
of collaboration and entrepreneurship.

Our Proposition
We as EIC, are submitting this proposal to request funds to participate
and represent IISER Pune at the Pitching Event during the IIE-Summit
at IISER Kolkata. This event is a new initiative that will allow IISER
students to showcase their innovative projects, entrepreneurial ideas,
and research-driven solutions. Participating in this pitching event will
provide teams from IISER Pune with an opportunity to present their
cutting-edge projects, foster valuable industry collaborations, and
enhance the visibility of our initiatives and institution.

Budgetary Requirements
We wish for two teams of four people each to represent us at IISER Kolkata.
We would be reimbursing the travel from and to the event at IISER Kolkata.
Other requirements like accommodation and food will be looked after by
the host institute and there are no registration fees.
