Rectangular Combined Footing Design Guide

The document provides a detailed example of designing a rectangular combined footing for two columns with specified sizes and reinforcement. It includes calculations for footing dimensions, shear forces, bending moments, and reinforcement requirements, ensuring compliance with safety and structural integrity standards. Key results include the required dimensions for the footing, actual contact pressures, and the necessary reinforcement for both long and short directions.
