HR policies are promote high moral and foster good working relationship among employees and
workers by providing uniform personal policies, equal opportunities for advancement and
consideration of employee needs. It Provides different facilities for employees i.e. canteen,
parking, Medical, training and Development facility etc.

If employees are satisfied with the HR policies then they feel belonging towards the organization
and they are more connected to the organization. Then it create the stable work force that leads to
the organization developed.

The Basic Purpose of HR policies are to enrich the life of employees & Keep them happy &
connected. HR facility unable worker to have a richer & more satisfied life. Shrushti Switch
Gear Pvt. Ltd. is spending lot of money on facilities given to employee.

Employee facility provided by organization are unique for all the employees. The only
difference is that the top level officers receive some additional facility along with routine one.

The study is based on information collected from respondent through questionnaires. The data
analyze is presented in the form of graph and on the basis of that conclusion are made. At last the
require suggestions are given.

After analyzing the data it is found that the employees are satisfied with the HR policies
provided to them by the area office Shrushti Switch Gear Pvt. Ltd.

Shrushti Switch Gears Private Limited is a Private incorporated on 06 August 2008. It is


classified as Non-govt . Company and is registered at Registrar of Companies. Its authorized

It is involved in Manufactures of Machinery and Equipment’s. Shrushti Switch Gears Private


Limited's Annual General Meeting (AGM) was last held on 30 September 2018 and as per

2018.

3.6 THEROTICAL BACKGROUND

"Human Resource Management is the functional activity which takes care of the exact human resources
needs of a company.” Manages the human resources by maintaining the dignity of every employee as a
human being promote teamwork among employees provides maximum opportunities for every individual
needs. It must help to accomplish organizational objectives by developing the human beings to the fullest
of their potentiality and enabling them to satisfy their own needs and aspirations.

Meaning:
“Resources are the means which can be drawn on.”

They are collective means for production, support and defense, as well as a source
Of strength and aid. Human resources are human wealth of means that can be drawn on. In
generic terms, human resource can be defined as the total knowledge, skills, creative ,abilities,
talents and aptitude of an organization’s workforce, as well as the value, attitudes, approaches
and beliefs of the individuals involved in the affairs of the organization. The dictionary meaning
of policy is a “plan of action” and that plan is a policy.

Policies are statement of the organization over all purpose and its objective in the various areas
with which its operations are personnel, finance, production, marketing and so on.

Policies not only establish goals; they also form the basis of control.”

The purpose of providing the HR Policies is to facilitate the development of the total personality
of the working class by providing facilities for physical, mental, psychological, cultural, social,
economic, moral and intellectual development. It includes all activities and facilities including,
social security, medical aid, working condition, canteen, drinking water facility, uniform facility,
maternity benefit ,social insurance measures including gratuity, pension, medical facility etc.

3.7 HR POLICIES

Company provides various HR Policies to the workers and


employees. These are as follows:

3.7.1 INTERVIEW

fullest of their potentiality and enabling them to satisfy their own needs and aspirations.

The purpose of providing the HR Policies is to facilitate the development of the total personality
of the working class by providing facilities for physical, mental, psychological, cultural, social,
economic, moral and intellectual development. Include all activities and facilities including
social security medical aid, working and living condition, canteen, drinking water facility,
uniform facility, social insurance measures including gratuity, pension, medical facility etc.

3.7.2 SELECTION

The aims of the selection process are:

 To ensure that the right person is selected for the position,

 To ensure a credible, consistent, fair, open and accountable approach; and

 To ensure that applicants have a positive view of the Organization and its procedures.

Selection Committees may use several methods to assess candidates for positions including
interview, skills tests, attendance at seminars given by short-listed candidates, and reference
checks. The selection committee will also make a recommendation about the probation
standards that should be set for a particular candidate.

3.7.3 TRAINING

All employees are suitably trained as per requirements by the H.R Department either in-house or
by sending through special seminars/courses. Company believes in people strength and that an
individual in any organization has tremendous potential to Perform an employee may perform at
the minimum level either due to lack of Motivation or due to deficiencies in Attitude, Knowledge
or Skills.

On-the-Job Training (OJT):

On-the-job training prepares an employee to effectively perform the responsibilities required of


his or her position. It allows the employee to learn his or her job duties, proper procedures and
expected performance levels. Employees may be required to attend job-related training
programs, courses, workshops, seminars, etc. attend such training or approves a specific request
from an employee to attend such training.

For workers:

In organization workers and employee include unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled work
salesmen, supervisors, etc. Unskilled workers are given training for knowing various
methods of handling machines, materials, and ways of doing work in order to reduce the
cost of production and waste and to do their jobs in the most efficient way. Semi-skilled
workers require training for coping with the requirements of an organization arising out
of adoption of rationalization. Even skilled workers are given training to heighten heir
level of skills, abilities and capacities.

3.7.4 UNIFORM

One major benefit of a work uniform is that it reduces anxiety for our employees over
what they should wear. Uniforms deliver functional benefits, like wearer safety. For
example-flame resistant work wear can help prevent injuries caused by accidental flash
fires, and high visibility uniforms can help protect workers.

3.7.5 PROMOTION

Promotional opportunities shall be offered as far as practicable to qualified current employees.


Factors to consider for promotion include an employee's completion of required training courses,
licensing or certification requirements, the minimum qualification annual performance
evaluation ratings, and the employee's knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential
functions of the vacant position.
Employees who desire to be considered for a posted vacancy shall complete a vacant Position
application and submit it to the official designated on the vacancy posting within the posting
period .

3.7.6 COMPENSATION (SALARY)

The company pays to its employees all the legal dues that it is bond to pay.

Staff members are paid salary by cheque. Workmen are paid wages and over-time in cash.

Salary payment for staff and workmen includes the following:

Management Cadre : Basic, HRA.

Staff Cadre : Basic

Worker : Basic

3.7.7 LEAVE

Each confirmed employee of the company is entitled to 2types of leaves, privilege leave, sick
leave they are also entitled to all other privileges as per the statuary requirements and company
rules in force.

The Appointing Authority will grant maternity leave with pay for the period in which any
employee is disabled by pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth, and for the recovery period
thereafter. Payment for maternity leave, however, is limited to the employee's use of sick leave,
personal leave, and/or vacation leave. Maternity leave is only available to staff members who are
pregnant. By agreement between staff member and the supervisor, the entitlement to:

 Fourteen (14) weeks paid maternity leave may be taken at twenty-eight (28) weeks on half-
pay; or

 Twenty-four (24) weeks paid maternity leave may be taken at forty-eight (48) weeks on
half-pay.

The Appointing Authority, upon request, will grant to an employee with six (6) months or more
service, maternity leave without pay for the period in which the employee is disabled by
pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth, and for the recovery period thereafter. Total continuous
leave for maternity purposes, both paid and unpaid, shall not exceed a period of three (3)
months, unless extenuating circumstances can be proven .Maternity Leave

Full time professional and academic staff members shall be entitled to fifteen (15) days sick
leave each year which shall accumulate if not taken. Sick leave credits shall not accrue in
respect of periods of leave without salary. Part-time professional and academic staff members
accrue sick leave on a pro-rata basis. A staff member's anniversary of appointment shall be the
basis point for accrual of sick leave.

3.7.8 MEDICAL FACILITY

Medical facilities including programs for physical fitness and efficiency. If a personal injury
caused to a worker by accident in the working period the company shall be liable to pay
compensation.

3.7.9 CANTEEN FACILITES

Employers make tea, cookies, drinking water facilities available as a benefit for their employees
for several reasons .during their meal periods while reducing the total amount of time needed for
the break. Some employers do not restrict the availability of meals to just the lunch break.
Accommodate the diverse schedules of employees, tea may be served at any time during the
day. The canteen policy include: Provide employee, Tea ,cookies ,and drinking water Facilities
Smoking Restrictions ·Safety Regulation ·Facilities Available .

3.7.10 PARKING POLICY

Depending on the workplace location, availability of parking and parking lot


Conditions can be a concern for both employers and employees. A parking policy can
address these concerns and establish the limits of the employer’s liability for employee
use of the parking facilities.

This policy discusses parking considerations, including parking and mass transit fringe
benefit allowance and the number of handicap parking spaces required by an employer.
Employers should consider the following legal and practical factors when designing a

 The study was completed within short span of time that was available.

 The sample size is 25, so the employee’s opinion may not reflect the exact scenario.

 Employees are very busy in their work, so they gave answers very much in the
questionnaire method

 Some of the respondents hesitated to give the correct information.

 Many workers are use bicycle for transportation, there is no safety place for cycle

parking in the company.

GEAR .The conclusion of this project study is as follows: -
