Lesson Planning in the Classroom

Am I a great teacher? Am I good at managing the classroom? Am I a good


listener? Do I think about the different ways students learn with the help of lesson
plans? Let's just say I know how to teach well and keep things running smoothly! As the
moment I was once made to act as a classroom teacher, I acted very well. I always
visualize the outcome of my lesson plan, and I always value the importance of students
learning considering their different ways of learning. However, as a classroom manager
or teacher, there are many things to consider for effective teaching: a lesson plan and
a teacher’s strategy.

Talking about my experience with making lesson plans in the classroom, it didn’t
go very well. As a student teacher at my level, creating a lesson plan has many factors
to consider, including the different tasks that would suit the students’ learning, the flow,
and most importantly, the outcome of the lesson. It really needs a logical thinking ability
to come up with what you really expect from your students. You also need to consider a
class in an interactive field, for it will result in an influential and effective way of
learning.

Reflecting on my work as a classroom teacher, I can recognize that being a


successful teacher goes beyond personality, it’s a lot about good classroom
management and proper lesson planning. I have tried to focus on them in my teaching
to make my lessons as enjoyable as those created with a word-to-pdf converter. The
classroom I envision always had lesson objectives. I would start with what I wanted to
achieve and create a plan for that outcome. I also recognize that every student learns
differently, which is why my lessons were versatile and valuable for any type of learner.

Making lesson plans was hard when I was just starting as a student teacher.
Trying to figure out which activities would fit my students the best and how to put the
lesson together in order to make it make sense was a challenge. However, I learned
that plans must be thought-through and logical. The most enjoyable part of teaching for
me was making the classroom interactive. When students participate in the discussion
and activities, they are able to learn more. Additionally, the classroom becomes a
supportive and cheerful environment.

I understand that teaching is a learning process. Every challenge I have


encountered has made me a better teacher. I will strive to improve and revolutionize my
teaching to accommodate the needs of my students. To summarize, I have learned from
my experience that good classroom management, lesson preparation, and creating an
interactive environment are the three key components of being a great teacher. All this
has influenced my teaching impact and induced me to continue my hard work.
