NAME OF BUSINESS

I. Executive Summary

 Overview: A brief description of the business idea, what problem it solves,


and its goals.
 Key Points: Students should explain the mission of the business and what
they are proposing in 2-3 sentences.

II. Business Description

 Company Information: What is the name of the business? What type of


business is it (service, product-based, etc.)?
 Industry Background: Provide some context on the industry the business
will be part of and what makes it an attractive opportunity.
 Business Structure: Whether it will be a sole proprietorship, partnership,
LLC, etc.

III. Market Research and Analysis

 Target Audience: Who will the business cater to (age group, demographic,
location, interests)?
 Market Need: What problem is the business solving for its customers? Why
is there demand?
 Competitor Analysis: Briefly mention who the competitors are and what
makes this proposal unique.

IV. Organizational Plan

 Management Structure: Who will be in charge? Explain the roles and


responsibilities (e.g., CEO, manager, sales, marketing).
 Team Members: If this is a group project, describe the responsibilities of
each team member in the proposal.
 HR Strategy: How will the business hire and manage its employees? What
skills will they need?

V. Marketing Strategy

 Branding: How will the business present itself (logo, color scheme, overall
aesthetic)?
 Promotional Strategy: What kind of advertising, social media, and other
marketing strategies will be used?
 Sales Strategy: How will the business sell its products or services (online,
physical stores, both)?

VI. Operational Plan


 Business Location: Where will the business be located? Will it be online, in
a storefront, or both?
 Daily Operations: What does a typical day look like for the business?
 Suppliers and Vendors: If applicable, who will supply materials or services
to the business?

VII. Financial Plan

 Startup Costs: List the initial capital required to start the business

 Revenue Model: How will the business make money? Is it a one-time

 Financial Projections: A basic forecast of revenue, expenses, and profits for
