(Sam and Joe were sitting in the chesterfield watching TV and drinking pops)

Joe: - Have you already seen my molson muscle, Sam?

Sam:-sometimes you act like a chucklehead

Joe: - true- (he chuckles)

(Liam enters the room)

Liam: - Who of you, angishores, stole my runners!? eh?!?-( he yells)

Sam: -Eh?-

Liam: - Are you deaf? Unlike you, beau caves, I need to work out and not stay on
the chesterfield growing my molson muscle like- look at Joe he looks like a hoser
already. ( I said, still mad pointing at Joe at the last sentence)

Joe:(Striking a pose) I'm embracing my inner couch potato, thank you very much.

Sam:(Grinning)Yeah, he's on his way to the hoser hall of fame.

Liam:(Rolls eyes) You guys are like a couple of donuts short of a Timbit box.

Joe: Easy there, Liam, don't spill your maple syrup over our couch debate.

Liam: Well, my runners are missing, and I'm about to unleash my inner hockey player on
whoever's responsible.

Sam: Let's simmer down this kerfuffle and find those runners, okay?

Joe: Yeah, Liam, no need for a polar bear-sized meltdown.

Liam: Fine, if my runners miraculously appear, holler at me, alright?

Sam: - We'll keep our peepers peeled for those runners, Liam.-

Joe: - And speaking of peeling, how about we peel ourselves off the chesterfield and do
something productive?...Plus It's getting cold, I need a blanket before I freeze here.-

Sam: - here just take my bunny hug and if your still cold just put your toque on- (he says
getting it off him and handing it to Joe)

Liam: Anyways back at what we were saying, I can't do anything productive without my
runners. It's like a moose trying to salsa dance.
Sam: Don't worry, Liam, if we spot a salsa-dancing moose, we'll let you know.

Joe: And you know, Liam, "Don't be a keener, just embrace the chill, eh?"

Liam: Alright, alright, let's find the missing runners and then maybe actually get off the
chesterfield for once.

*(Suddenly, a loud crashing noise comes from the kitchen. They all exchange puzzled
glances.)*

Joe: What in the name of all-dressed chips was that?

Sam: Did the ghost of a beaver knock something over?

*(They cautiously approach the kitchen, only to find Liam's runners tangled in a mess of
maple syrup bottles, beaver plushies, and a puzzled-looking squirrel.)*

Liam: Well, beauty, slap me with a salmon and call me a loon, my runners went on a maple
syrup adventure!

Joe: It's a full-blown maple syrup kerfuffle!

Sam: More like a maple syrup marathon!

Liam: I can't believe my runners got caught in a maple mayhem.

(They all burst into laughter, imagining Liam's runners getting tangled up in a sweet
Canadian escapade.)

Sam: calm down buddy, is just a joke, don't need to act bushed.

Joe: yes b'y, we tried to return your Canuck genes to make you stop acting like a skeet.

Liam: how am I supposed to run a frickin klick with that?- (he says, sighing, trying to calm
down)

Sam: -seems like we pas fort…

Liam: Do you find this funny? we're in middle of fall, even if I clean them, they won't be dry
for tomorrow…you know what, you better find a way to hand them all clean and dry to me
tomorrow or I'm gonna throw you from the top of the shopping parkade- (he says before
tapping both their shoulders) - give'r, I'm sure that if you hurry now, you'll get it (he says
walking outside the room and mumbling; "hmm..I need a dart and a mickey")
