Please read carefully and pay attention to the questions before responding. Wrong calculations will
have penalties.

1. A pizza has a diameter of 20 cm. What is the area of the pizza? (Remember, diameter = 2 x
radius)

2. If the circumference of a circle is 31.4 cm, what is its radius? (Circumference = 2πr)

3. You want to paint a circular tablecloth with a radius of 50 cm. How much paint do you need if 1
can of paint covers 1 square meter? (Area = πr²) (Remember to convert cm² to m²)

4. Imagine a bicycle wheel with a radius of 35 cm. What distance does the wheel travel in one
complete rotation? (Circumference = distance traveled in one rotation)

5. Compare the areas of two circles with radii of 4 cm and 8 cm. How much bigger is the area of the
larger circle?

Square (5 questions):

6. A square garden has a side length of 7 meters. What is the perimeter of the garden? (Perimeter
= 4 x side length)

7. If the area of a square picture frame is 36 square centimeters, what is the length of each side?
(Area = side length x side length)

8. You want to build a square fence around a vegetable patch with sides of 3 meters. How much
fencing do you need?

9. A square tile has a side length of 10 cm. How many tiles would you need to cover a rectangular
floor that is 20 cm long and 10 cm wide? (Divide the area of the floor by the area of one tile)

10. A square tablecloth has an area of 64 square feet. What is the length of each side? (Remember
to find the square root of the area)

Rectangle (5 questions):

11. A rectangular table is 1 meter long and 50 centimeters wide. What is the perimeter of the table?
(Perimeter = 2 x length + 2 x width)

12. If the area of a rectangular carpet is 15 square meters and its length is 3 meters, what is its
width? (Area = length x width)

13. You want to paint the walls of a rectangular room that is 4 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 2.5
meters high. How much paint do you need if 1 can of paint covers 10 square meters? (Calculate
the total wall area first)

14. A rectangular picture frame has a length of 12 cm and a width of 8 cm. What is the difference
between its perimeter and the perimeter of a square with the same area?

15. Imagine a rectangular garden bed with a length of 6 meters and a width of 4 meters. You want to
plant seeds along the entire perimeter. How many meters of seeds do you need?
Cube (5 questions):

16. A cube-shaped box has a side length of 8 cm. What is the volume of the box? (Volume = side
length x side length x side length)

17. If the volume of a cube is 27 cubic meters, what is the length of each side? (Remember to find
the cube root of the volume)

18. You have 64 small cubes with a side length of 1 cm. How many of these small cubes can you fit
into a larger cube with a side length of 4 cm?

19. A cube-shaped gift box has a surface area of 156 square centimeters. What is the length of each
side? (Remember, surface area is the total area of all the faces)

20. Imagine a cube-shaped water tank with a side length of 1 meter. If the tank is currently half full,
how many liters of water are in the tank? (Remember, 1 liter = 1 cubic decimeter)

More Questions

21. A rectangular garden bed is 5 meters long and 3 meters wide. If you want to build a fence around
it, what is the total length of fencing needed? (2 x length + 2 x width)

22. A square tablecloth has a side length of 1.5 meters. What is the perimeter of the tablecloth? (4 x
side length)

23. You have a rectangular piece of paper with a length of 20 cm and a width of 10 cm. If you cut off
a 2 cm strip from each side, what is the new perimeter of the paper?

24. A circular cake has a diameter of 20 cm. What is the circumference of the cake? (Circumference =
2πr)

25. A rectangular picture frame has a length of 12 cm and a width of 8 cm. What is the difference
between the area of the picture frame and the area of a square with the same perimeter?

Volume:

26. A cube-shaped box has a side length of 6 cm. How many smaller cubes with a side length of 1 cm
can fit inside the larger cube?

27. If the volume of a cube is 125 cubic centimeters, what is the length of each side? (Remember to
find the cube root of the volume)

28. A cylindrical can has a diameter of 8 cm and a height of 10 cm. What is the volume of the can?
(πr²h)

29. Imagine a spherical balloon with a radius of 5 cm. How much air can the balloon hold? (Volume
of a sphere = (4/3)πr³)

30. A rectangular aquarium is 80 cm long, 40 cm wide, and 50 cm high. What is the volume of water
the aquarium can hold in liters? (Remember, 1 liter = 1 cubic decimeter)
