Responsible Energy Usage
Due to the design of our high bay, our cold stores
consume up to 65% less energy per cubic meter
compared to conventional cold storage facilities.
Our material handling systems only operate when
necessary to ensure minimal door openings for
pallets entering and leaving the cold storage.
Full automation reduces power consumption,
which leads to responsible energy usage.

Warehouse Management System
• NewCold uses CORAX WMS in its warehouses, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
product which supports the warehouse with their inbound, outbound and storage
processes as well as with a dock scheduling module.
• CORAX is a native cloud application, hosted on Microsoft Azure, and developed by
Davanti.
• For the automation NewCold uses a Material Flow Control System which is linked to
CORAX for all the pallet movements on the system.

Customer Service Portal
NewCold’s Customer Service Portal (CSP) is providing the
digital solution which allows customers to have control
over their own Supply Chain.
The cloud based CSP allows critical operational
information to be available in real-time such as tracking
orders at every stage of the Supply Chain.
As a result, obviously, there is a decrease in the
traditional communication via telephone and email which
is reliant on someone being available. This means
customers can respond to decisions faster with more time
available focusing on their core business.
