In the current report, I will reflect on my learning experience in module of global business in
context. I will apply the concepts of Gibbs’ reflective cycle. Gibbs reflective cycle helps an
individual to examine its experiences through different questions which is designed to critical
and deep reflection (Adeani et al. 2020). One of the main objective of using Gibbs reflective
cycle is the emphasis on the importance of feelings in reflection (Merkkanen et al. 2020).
As a level 7 learner, it is my responsibility to display mastery in a particular subject of study,
practice critical thought, and use my knowledge in practical situations. I should be able to
understand challenging issues, create original solutions, communicate clearly, and act with
professionalism and morality.
I am responsible for applying the required effort, fulfilling the requirements, and submitting this
evaluation by the deadline. I may have mixed emotions about finishing this evaluation, but it's
significant to maintain my balance, drive, and dedication to doing my best task.
I took AAPD assistance courses to improve my academic abilities. I was able to improve my
research and writing abilities as well as my capacity to speak thanks to these seminars.
My experience has shown me that the best way to learn about research is by doing it. I built up
the knowledge and abilities essential to conduct successful research by working on research
projects and putting research methodologies to use in practical situations. Practice has been
essential in helping me improve my research techniques.
Prioritizing my workload and establishing reasonable deadlines have helped me stay on top of it.
To keep myself on track, I have also used time management techniques including making
timetables and to-do lists. To successfully manage my homework, I have also contacted my
lecturers and asked for assistance when necessary.
By setting priorities, making a timetable, and using time management tools like calendars and to-
do lists, I have successfully controlled my time. I have been able to manage my academic
obligations with other commitments by making a strategy and setting realistic goals, which has
allowed me to maximize my time.
I've learned new things and gained fresh perspectives through thinking back on my experiences. I
have developed a greater awareness of my skills, shortcomings, and opportunities for progress by
critically examining my achievements and difficulties. This has allowed me to modify my
strategy and come up with fresh ideas to improve my performance and accomplish my
objectives.
In a global business class, networking with peers from various backgrounds would be a top focus
for me. The chance to have a more global perspective on business processes would be priceless,
and the relationships I build would be useful for my future job.
Only once during this semester did we get to present in front of the whole class. This gives me
greater confidence. I now look more certain and professional in front of a crowd because of
improvements in my body language and voice tone. I also use considerably more compelling
visuals and supporting resources in my presentations.
I should use a more proactive learning strategy by establishing clear goals, enhancing time
management, and utilizing a variety of resources for my next review. My conceptual knowledge
will improve if I use active recall, practice spaced repetition, and seek out peer cooperation. I
will be able to find areas for growth by accepting self-assessment and feedback, which will
eventually enhance how I do in future examinations.
