When we say dates in English, we must use ordinal numbers!!!

Pay attention: 01/02 – February 1st.

Months: Ordinal numbers:


January July 1st – the first 13th – the thirteenth
2nd – the second 14th – the fourteenth
February August 3rd – the third 15th – the fifteenth
4th – the fourth 16th – the sixteenth
March September
5th – the fifth 17th – the seventeenth
April October 6th – the sixth 18th – the eighteenth
7th – the seventh 19th – the nineteenth
May November 8th – the eighth 20th – the twentieth
9th – the ninth 21st – the twenty-first
June December 10th – the tenth 22nd – the twenty-second
11th – the eleventh ETC.
* ALWAYS USE CAPITAL LETTER!!! 12th – the twelfth
