Project Description

Overview
BookNest is a digital platform that aims to create a community of book enthusiasts by
facilitating the exchange, sale, rental, and donation of books. The platform's purpose is
to encourage a reading culture, minimize wastage of books, and establish a sustainable
book-sharing ecosystem. With anonymous book exchange, café partnerships, author
talks, and discussion forums, BookNest aims to make a reading platform that is
accessible, affordable, and enjoyable for all. The platform will also incorporate
Gamification, AI-driven recommendations, and a strong feedback system to improve
user experience and trust.

Project Justification
BookNest is a website where book lovers can come together. You can exchange, sell,
rent, or donate books. The goal is to get more people reading, cut down on wastage of
books, and make sharing easier for everyone. BookNest has many cool features. There
are anonymous swaps, partnerships with local cafés, author chats, and discussion
groups. All these things are meant to make reading fun and affordable. The platform will
also use gamification and smart recommendations to help users find books they like.
Plus, there will also be a feedback system to make everything work better and keep it
trustworthy.

Objectives
1. Develop a User-Friendly Platform: Build an application for book exchange,
rental, donation and sale (mobile and web-based) with simple functions.
2. Build a Strong Community: Oversee 10,000 active users in the initial year and
manage 50,000+ book transactions within two years.
3. Promote Reading Habits: Collaborate with cafés, clubs, and NGOs to establish
reading areas and fundraising events.

memberships, author events and advertising partnerships.
5. Ensure Trust and Security: Implement KYC verification, user ratings and an
