SCRIPT FOR IN-SERVICE TRAINING
INSET 2024
I. INTRODUCTION
- In-service training for teachers is the process by which
teachers engage in further education or training to
refresh or upgrade their professional knowledge, skills,
and practices in the course of their employment.
Throughout this training, we will explore innovative teaching
methodologies, and collaborative strategies that will absolutely
elevate our teaching practices.
To our PSDS in-charge of the school Dr. Jean B. Castrence, first
ever male school head of HULO INTEGRATED SCHOOL Dr. Efren
S. Consemino, Assistant to the principal of Junior High School,
Mr. Franklin F. Fabreag, Assistant to the Principal of
Elementary, Mr. John Larry B. Caruruan, Assistant to the
Principal of Learners and Support, Mr. Randy F. Tilbe, Master
Teachers, Subject coordinators, Grade level chairpersons and to
my fellow teachers.
I am delighted to welcome you to this moment in our academic
calendar – the Mid-year In-Service Training for Teachers. As we
gather here today with the theme : “UPSKILLING TEACHER’S
PEDAGOGICAL STRATEGIES AND COMPETENCIES” we go on
board on a journey of professional growth and development, aimed
at enhancing our collective impact on the lives of the students we
serve.
PRELIMINARIES
II. PRELIMINARIES
- To formally start the program, May I request everyone to stand as
we express our pride and patriotism through the singing of our
Philippine National Anthem and seek the guidance of the Lord
through a prayer.
- ENERGIZER – To keep us alive all throughout this morning. Let’s
call on the MAPEH HEAD TEACHER Mr. Randy F. Tilbe.

OPENING MESSAGE
- There's nothing quite as comforting and heartening as the
warmth of welcoming words. Join me as we extend a collective
welcome to our School Principal, Dr. Efren S. Consemino, as he
shares his opening remarks.

INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE
- At this, juncture, let us listen some words of encouragement , to
warm our hearts with hopeful words of inspiration, to be given
us by our PSDS IN-CHARGE OF THE SCHOOL DR. JEAN B.
CASTRENCE.

ENCOURAGEMENT, IT WILL SURELY SOLIDIFY THE INNER
SOULS OF OUR LISTENER)
IN-SERVICE TRAINING PROPER
- And now , we are going to proceed to the main purpose of this
event. The in-service training proper. To give us a lot of learning
from the topic, may I please introduce our speaker this morning.
She is the Master teacher-in- charge for Grade 5 and 6 teachers.
She’s been handling Mathematics for 27 years. She was one of the
first batch of the MTAP scholars in 1997 where she gained her 45
masteral units in Master of Arts in Elementary Mathematics. She’s
been dedicated with her work and always open to take challenges
for the benefits of her learners. A friendly, sisterly, and easy to
approach teacher of HIS. No other than Mrs. Janeth B. Manuel

- (At this point in time, we will momentarily cut the program. Let’s
enjoy our food/snack because we will be having a 30-minute
break.) After 30 minutes, please proceed to your designated
areas.

- At this juncture, To continue with our workshop, once again I
would like to call on Mrs. Janeth B. Manuel.
LUNCH BREAK
- We’ve now reached the end of the first part of our program. After
feeding our brains, let us now give back to our stomachs. We will
be having a one-hour break. Have a great lunch!

- Goodafternoon, everyone! I hope you’ve already delighted your
tummies so let’s get back to the program. For our 2 nd topic this
