Cut off each sentence into its constituents then determine the sentence pattern:
1) My father is a lawyer.
S (possessive pronoun+Noun)+ V +SC
2) Ghosts and Angels exist.

3) Muslims consider the prophet Muhamed a teacher.
S+ V+ DO+ OC
4) They finished their exams.
S (pronoun) +V+ DO
5) Our national football team won the match.
S(possessive pronoun+adjective+compound noun functions as adj+ noun) +V +DO
6) My husband bought me a new mobile.

Activity2
Identify the sentence type:
1) I sent him an email but he did not answer me back.
Compound sentence: Independent clause+ coordinating conjunction+ Independent clause.
2) Although I revised very well, I got a bad mark.
Complex sentence: subordinating conjunction+ subordinate clause, Independent clause.
3) I apologized to my best friend who blamed me for not attending her wedding.
Complex sentence: independent clause subordinating conjunction subordinate clause.
4) They will travel to London by next week.
Simple sentence.
5) Mary lost the job yet she is not angry.
Compound sentence: Independent clause+ coordinating conjunction+ Independent clause.
