To give a simple definition, global warming is a phenomenon in which the annual global
temperature rises at a much faster rate. Since the industrial revolution, we have witnessed
some of the hottest years ever recorded, with numerous studies claiming that the world
is running against the clock to alleviate this issue. The average global temperature has
increased by about 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit (0.8 degrees Celsius) over the past 100 years,
according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The cause for this problem lies mostly in the different heat-trapping pollutants in the
atmosphere, including carbon dioxide, methane and synthetic fluorinated gasses, which trap
the sunlight heat that is supposed to escape into space. These pollutants are attributable
to human activity – especially that of burning fossil fuels for transportation or electricity
generation. The situation is getting worse as the demand for cars is increasing rapidly in the
modern world.
Another reason for the temperature rise is the cutting down of forests for wood, paper or
farming. Forests absorb and capture CO from the atmosphere. This process has been
disrupted by the current alarming rate of deforestation. The worst effect of global warming is
the rise in sea levels worldwide, which could make millions of people lose their homes.

One can already see the detrimental impacts that this environmental issue poses on the
world.
"We can observe this happening in real time in many places," Josef Werne, a
professor of geology and environmental science at the University of Pittsburgh, told
Live Science. "Ice is melting in both polar ice caps and mountain glaciers. Lakes
around the world, including Lake Superior, are warming rapidly — in some cases
faster than the surrounding environment. Animals are changing migration patterns
and plants are changing the dates of activity," such as trees budding their leaves
earlier in the spring and dropping them later in the fall.
According to scientists, rising average temperatures are fueling longer heat waves, more
extreme droughts, heavier rainfall and more severe tropical storms.
The aforementioned natural disasters put a lot of people’s health and safety at risk, causing
tens of thousands fatalities every single year and eradicating the homes of countless
communities.
Also, global warming causes climate change, which disrupts the natural habitats of many
species and plants, hence driving them to extinction. And that is just naming two of the
many adverse effects of global warming. In order to solve this issue, a very deep cut of
emissions is needed, and more alternative energy technologies need to be implemented.

This requires immediate, concrete steps taken by governments and companies in setting up
policies to meet or exceed the new environmentally friendly standards of manufacturing.
Each person could also be a part of this worldwide campaign by limiting their own carbon
footprint. Only by doing that will we, as a community, maintain a sustainable environment
for our future generations.

We should raise our voice together against global warming and do every possible effort to
reduce its harmful effects.
We should go with the clean and renewable energy use means electricity produced by the
wind, solar system and other clean sources. We should go for alternative means of
transportation: use public transit, walking, biking, carpooling, etc instead of personal means.

We should be more energy-efficient in our daily life and buy energy-efficient appliances. We
can be so by replacing our simple light bulbs with the compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs)
because they last 10 times longer and use less energy than the common bulbs. We should
switch off all the lights and other electronic devices in our home to avoid unnecessary use
and reduce the level of heat.

Plan
After graduating from high school, I plan to volunteer in community services related to
children. I love working with kids, so I want to improve the children’s lives. In the project, I
will teach English to poor children who don’t have a chance to study. In the project, I also
have more opportunities for teaching skills which play an essential role in my future job.
Time flies quickly, so I want to spend my life on valued experiences when taking part in
volunteer work.

Firstly, studying at university helps me to secure a specialized job. Most skilled jobs require
academic training as well as a bachelor’s and master's degree. Some examples include
careers in healthcare, engineering, education, law, and accounting. So, while there are many
alternatives to university, a university education is essential for certain roles and careers.

Secondly, College courses teach an array of skills. In general, skills can be broken down into
hard skills and soft skills. Hard skills are job-related and tend to be technical. To illustrate, if
you want to be a web developer, then a hard skill you’ll need to learn would be how to code.
On the other hand, there are soft skills that tend to be transferable between jobs and are life
skills, too. These include problem-solving, communication, teamwork, etc.

Thirdly, another advantage of going to university and, even more so, of living with other
students, is meeting people. And not just any people, but young people your own age, with
similar interests and the same desire to make friends. For all these reasons, the friendships
made during the race are often the most enriching and long lasting, the ones that leave the
most impact and the ones that are experienced with the greatest intensity. And sometimes
they become something more: future co-workers or, maybe even, partners for life.

For all the benefits I have mentioned, going straight to university has many advantages.
Destination
Ghenh Rang is the first top tourist destination in Binh Dinh. Ghenh Rang (Vietnamese: Gềnh
Ráng) is one of the most attractive destinations in Binh Dinh, located 3km southeast of Quy
Nhon City. It has magnificent natural scenery with mountains, forests, beaches and islands
that can’t be seen in such a combination anywhere else. At the southwest are high mountains
that reach the ocean, and from these mounts you can survey great distances of natural beauty:
the Lion’s Head rock that leaps to reach the sea; the silent Waiting Statue; the Lying
Elephant and Bear rocks that guard the beaches; and Chong Islet which seems to be light, but
is stable in heavy storms. On the northeast of Ghenh Rang is a blue ocean that covers the
white sandbanks with cool water and a stunning view. This is one of the most beautiful
beaches in Binh Dinh, and has greeted bathers in search of relaxation for many years.

In 1927, Bao Dai, the last king of Vietnam, built a villa where his family could come and
relax. He reserved the whole beach for just Queen Nam Phuong, his most beloved wife. As a
result, the beach is now referred to as Queen Beach. The beach appears to be a huge
turquoise field full of jade and granite eggs from the top of the mountain. Thus, in addition to
"Queen's Beach," the locals also refer to it as "Egg Stone"
beach.
