economy.

We can encourage people to recycle by spreading the word, educating them about
the benefits of recycling, and making recycling fun by organizing recycling events
such as competitions and challenges. Besides, governments and organizations can
create recycling programs to reward recyclers to attract more recyclers.

There are many recyclable materials such as glass, paper, textiles, tyres, wood,
carton, organics, plastic bottles,etc... Besides, waste electrical and electronic
equipment also can be broken up and reused.

If we don't recycle, it will lead to substantially increased waste, depleted natural
resources, pollution of the environment around the globe, negative contribution to

Yes, most countries face environmental problems. In Vietnam, common issues
include air and water pollution,and the impacts of climate change. Many people,
especially those who live in industrial areas, have been affected by these issues.
They have to suffer from not only dirty water but also respiratory illnesses

Yes, of course, since childhood, my brother and I have been taught by our parents
about the importance of the environment in life. We recycles, and uses reusable
bags. We also sometimes participate in local clean-up events.
3. How often do you read news about the environment? Is it always bad news?
I follow environmental news frequently. While there are many concerning stories,
there are also positive updates, like advances in green technology and conservation
successes. Moreover, people's environmental awareness is growing day by day.
4. Do you have any good news about the environment in your country?
Well, as far as I know, Hanoi is improving its environment by expanding green
spaces, adopting electric buses, and enhancing recycling efforts. And that sound
great!

Yes, I have. I have saved electricity, put garbage in the right place, and limited the
use of plastic bags. These things I do everywhere, it has become my practice.

days? Why?
People's concerns about the environment have generally increased in recent years,
because extreme weather events have become more frequent and more severe, such
as storms, floods, droughts, and heat waves. These events directly impact people's
lives, causing damage to people and property, making people more aware of the
need to protect the environment.

3. What can be done to encourage people to protect the environment?


To encourage people to protect the environment, we need to raise awareness of
environmental issues through educational programs at schools, propaganda through
magazines, newspapers or opening seminars on environmental issues. In addition,
the state needs to introduce policies to help encourage people to protect the
environment.

1. What kinds of things do people in your country often buy from online
shops?
Since online shopping has become so popular, almost everyone in my country
engages in e-commerce, both as sellers and customers. Online platforms sell a
wide range of things, including food, clothing, cosmetics, and household
appliances, as one may expect. To the best of my knowledge, the most popular
products on these platforms are food and clothing.
2. Why has online shopping become so popular in many countries?
Online shopping has become popular because it provides people with convenience
and ease of use. We can buy goods anywhere and anytime. Moreover, Online
shopping allows customers to receive clear and objective information about the
product instantly. They can check reviews, opinions, ingredients, components, and
anything else they need to make the best possible choice.
3. What are some possible disadvantages of buying things from online shops?
One potential disadvantage is the inability to physically see or try out a product
before purchasing it. This can be particularly problematic when it comes to items
such as clothing or furniture, where fit and quality are important factors. Another
disadvantage is the risk of fraudulent activities or scams. Online shopping requires
sharing personal and financial information, which can make individuals vulnerable
to identity theft or unauthorized charges

1. What do most people in your country use emails for?
In Vietnam, email is used for a variety of both work-related and personal purposes.
Businesses and companies, for example, make immediate responses to their
customers’ inquiries and requests via email. Individual users take it as a tool to
send and receive different forms of attachments including photos, short videos, and
files or documents besides composing messages.
2. Do you think it is better to send an email or a text message?
In my opinion, both are good because, depending on the purpose of use, we can
consider which one is better. If you want to relay information quickly, texting is the
way to go. However, if you want to send across a more professional message with
greater functionalities that does not need immediate attention, email should be your
go-to choice.
3. Is sending emails popular among teenagers in your country? Why/ Why
not?
Yes, because email is like a communication channel, from work to everyday life.
It's easy to operate and use. Email is a place where you can exchange information
quickly, save time and money, support multiple file formats, and have high
security.

1. Do you think buying solar panels for your home is a good investment?
yes, buying solar panels can be a good investment. The long-term benefits often
outweigh the upfront costs. Energy cost savings: Solar panels generate electricity,
reducing reliance on the grid and lowering energy bills. Increased home value:
Homes with solar panels often sell faster and at a premium. Environmental
benefits: Solar energy is a clean, renewable resource, reducing your carbon
footprint.
2. Why aren’t all houses in hot countries fitted with solar panels?

reasons why they aren't universally adopted: High upfront costs: Solar panels can
