cure was the song of the mystical Ibong Adarna. The three princes set out on a journey to
capture the bird and heal their father.

The Journey to Capture Ibong Adarna

1. Don Pedro's Attempt – The eldest prince, Don Pedro, failed in his mission and was
turned to stone by the bird’s magical droppings.
2. Don Diego's Attempt – The second prince, Don Diego, also failed and met the same
fate.
3. Don Juan's Success – The youngest and kindest prince, Don Juan, endured
hardships but ultimately captured the Ibong Adarna with the help of a wise hermit.
He also restored his brothers back to life.
