Recently psychologists have begun to study human-animal relationship for


evidence of what we instinctively know: pets are good for us.
It has been found that coronary patients with pets may survive longer than
those without. Pets have also been used as therapy for children with emotional
or physical disorders. They give them a focus of attention drawing them out of
private, perhaps painful thoughts.
Pets means laughter, play and comfort. Indeed, who can carry the worry of the
world on hin shoulders while a puppy is untying the shoes on his feet?
