I. Pressure
- Pressure is defined as the physical force
exerted on an object. The force applied is
perpendicular to the surface of objects per
unit area. The basic formula for pressure is
F/A (Force per unit area). Unit of pressure is
Pascals (Pa).
- Fluid pressure refers to a measurement of
the force per unit area that acts on an object
in the fluid or on a closed container's
surface.
- Hydrostatic Pressure is the pressure exerted
by a fluid at equilibrium at any point of time
due to the force of gravity. Hydrostatic
pressure is proportional to the depth
