How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
Make This Your No1 Rule
Your business will live or die based on its numbers.
“If Your Expenses Are Consistently
More Than Your Income, You’re Gone!”
Bye Bye.
If it’s so obvious why do most internet businesses fail?
Because they don’t watch their numbers.
Or if they do they ignore them and hope things will improve.
Their expenses - platform subscriptions, tra c buys, processor fees,
outsourcing costs, autoresponders, taxes, salaries and everything else are
more than the revenue they make.
If your expenses are more than your income for any signi cant length of time
(and personally I start sweating if it happens ONCE) then you’re heading for
big trouble.
So the whole focus of building your $100k business is going to be about
the numbers working.
Keeping costs down
Keeping pro ts high

How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
1. Find Products or Services That
You Can Source or Create for as
Little Cost as Possible
Pretty obvious why, right?
The less a product or service costs you to source or create, and then
deliver…the higher your pro t margin.
But it’s not just higher, it can actually mean the di erence between a
business model that works and one that doesn’t.
ANYTHING that you pay to get created for you is a cost that you should
strive to keep as low as possible.
It’s the reason why sellers in the west visit manufacturers in China or India to
get the lowest price per unit possible.
5
fi
ff
How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
Because margins can be THAT tight.
Add that factor to a niche where you’re competing on price and your margins
can be as tight as a frog’s arse.
If you’re selling an info product for $7 (typical pricing for a front-end product
on the Warrior Forum) and it costs you $1000 to have created, you’re starting
from a VERY weak position.
You have to sell 143 copies just to break even.
What? You’ve sold products on Warrior Plus and never even thought about
your break-even point?
It’s vital to look at things like this.
If you’re giving 100% to a liates you make ZERO pro t from that particular
product.
It means you have to have a back-end or follow-up process that is
optimised, tested and tweaked just to make your launch pro table.
And yes that’s cool - it’s what marketers do.
But consider this - I’ve been doing this well over a decade, have well over a
million dollars in sales and earn six- gures a year…
…and I wouldn’t DREAM of putting that much pressure on myself any
longer - multiple upsells in place JUST to make the numbers work.
So if you’re a newbie, good luck in making all that stack.
If you’ve bought any of my products you’ll notice that I sell my products for
between $37 and $497 roughly speaking for a non-support, non-coaching
type product.
From a very simple sales funnel - very rarely an upsell.
6
ffi
fi
fi
fi
How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
So if we go back to the above example…
You have to sell 143 copies of a $7 product that cost you $1000 to have
created just to break even. That’s why it won’t work without upsells.
If I sell 143 copies of my $97 product I’m $13,871 IN PROFIT!
Yes of course there are factors such as experience, audience reach and
others that come into play but bloody hell - GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK!
Why make it so hard for yourself?
When I’m teaching this strategy to my high-level clients here are some of the
objections I get to this example:
=========================================================
Q. Yes but I need to outsource my products because I’m not a good writer
A. So learn to write, nd di erent products or increase your pricing.
Q. You have to charge low prices if you sell on Warrior Plus because that’s
the pricing the market will accept
A. So use another platform, build your own list or other audience so you
don’t need a liates. Or do private launches and use private a liates.
Q. I need to use that platform because I have no tra c and need to attract
a liates to send clicks
A. Again, set up your own a liate program. Recruit your subscribers to
become a liates as they opt-in. Or buy tra c

No matter how much fairy dust you sprinkle on the above example, it’s
Custer at Little Big Horn - It’s probably not making it out alive unless you’re a
very experienced Warrior Plus or Jvzoo marketer.
You need to really understand this:
Things WILL NOT CHANGE if you don’t MAKE changes.
The whole thing about paying $1000 to have a product created, then selling
it at $7, then paying a liates 100% commission…
IT’S FUNDAMENTALLY FLAWED.
You’re coming from a position of WEAKNESS and serious nancial
vulnerability.
Yet most marketers don’t see they’re ghting a bear with a toothpick.
They don’t take the time to look at the numbers, to study what they would
need to make it work (which is a bloody LOT)
Listen up - taken individually - selling a product for $7 is not a problem.
Neither is using Warrior Plus as a platform
Neither is giving 100% to a liates
And neither is needing a chunky follow-up process.
But in a combined situation, it’s what my old gran would call a
ClusterFuck.
A perfect storm for things not working.

How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
I can’t think of a worse position to start an online business from - and the
poor newbie marketer who nd himself in that position is probably going to
struggle big time.
It’s like starting a career in boxing and deciding to take on Tyson Fury in your
rst bout.
And it can all be sorted out by stopping and looking at
what you plan to do in your business, and then working
out what numbers you would need to hit to succeed.
Incidentally all those things above - the $7 products, Warrior Plus etc…
I did exactly that.
I WAS that marketer.
I very quickly worked out the numbers didn’t stack so I put my prices up in a
big way, became a private seller (I sell only to my list) and installed my own
a liate program.
What happened?
Well my income jumped from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands.
Not just because of those tweaks of course - I had to do some other stu
like introduce coaching, memberships and sort out some infrastructure.
But it was certainly the start of un- awing’ my business model
So look at your current setup or look at your plan if you’ve not set anything
up yet.
Start by seeing if making your numbers stack is easy or di cult.

Check out (for example) what a potential 100 sales in your current model
and funnel would bring you.
If it’s $7,500 then you have something to work with.
If it’s $200 then you need a rethink.
Don’t be scared of changing/dumping products
Changing prices.
Changing platforms
We’ll cover other ways to do things in the rest of this publication but for now
take a look at your products and how you sell.
Ask yourself simply this:
Is your current system (or plan if you’ve not yet started) viable nancially?
Don’t just do it because it’s what you think you see others doing!!
The chances are high that those who are operating the same or similar
strategy are going broke.
And those that are doing well and ‘seem’ to be using the same strategy…
well they’re probably doing something you can’t see - maybe they have a
huge autoresponder sequence in place as follow-up, or they’re buying
additional tra c.
Maybe they have deals with other marketers to get a di erent commission
rate or to place reciprocal ads on those JV partners download pages.
Maybe they funnel all their new subscribers into a hight ticket coaching o er
and that’s their real business strategy, and they can a ord to make a loss on
the front-end?
The truth is you don’t know.

How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
You have no idea what is gong on behind the scenes with these other
marketers.
But you can be assured of this:
If you simply try to model another marketer’s strategy without paying
attention to your OWN numbers, you’re going to slide into the red very
quickly.
I’ve tried this myself.
Tried to replicate what I see some clever marker doing, then realise although
I’m doing the EXACT same thing, for some reasons the numbers won’t stack
for me.
I usually nd out later that he has some other stu in place that I didn’t know
about :)
And good luck to him.
Now I attend to my own gures and don’t worry about what anyone else is
doing.
So go grab a beer, look at your current selling strategy - the costs, the
platforms, the break-even point needed, the a liate commissions, the
platform costs…the full monty.
And be honest with yourself.
Is it actually viable?
Will it support you?
If not, it’s time to change
Let’s move on…

2. Take Your $100k Figure and
Roughly Work out What You
Need To Sell To Achieve It
Forget overheads and expenses for now.
Just work out where the $100k that we’re aiming to get you to before
the end of the year will actually come from.
I know this gure o my head because I remember when I rst set my goal at
six gures a year…
$100,000 a year is $274 per day.
It’s not a lot eh?
12
fi
fi
ff
fi
How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
It can arrive in all sorts of ways of course, that’s just an average
It can be one $4,000 launch per month and $142 per day
Or a $27 per month newsletter subscription with 312 members.
Or a combination of the above.
Of course it seems like a lot now right?
Especially if you’re just starting out.
But trust me it’s really not.
And as I always say, if you ‘only’ make fty grand in your rst year it’s not
such a bad result?
There’s a reason for this exercise so please DO IT.
It forces you to get real.
It forces you to realise that - on the whole - the selling of $7 ebooks is never
going to achieve this income unless it’s backed by a well thought out follow-
up process and some smart marketing.
So let’s dump the illusions, chuck away the rose tinted specs and the
utter bollocks that is internet marketing and get your head around some
realistic gures.
Where’s your hundred grand coming from?
In terms of sales gures and price points of course.
We’ll deal with the actual products very soon…

3. Product or Service?
Honestly?
You need to ask?
It’s WAYYY easier to sell something digital that makes money for you while
you sleep than it is to sell a service such as copywriting or coaching
You’ve got to be a very highly paid copywriter or ghostwriter to get near
$100k
Some do it of course - usually because their fees are very high and because
they also demand a percentage of each sale or some other performance-
related commission.
I’ve made ve gures in the past doing some copywriting for gurus back in
my early days and it’s bloody hard work.
I wouldn’t want to do it now.
14
fi
fi
How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
But a service such as ghostwriting?
It’s competitive, poorly-paid and quite frankly AI has shagged the gig
completely.
What about coaching?
Yes that’s possibility but again it’s swapping your time for money
To make $100k a year you’d need to have consistent $10,000-fee months.
I’ll be honest, I’d nd that di cult to do, time-wise.
Not just in terms of tting in clients but there are natural drop-o times
during the year when clients are di cult to nd.
Coaching and consulting makes up part of my income, sure.
But I’ve deliberately kept it to a very small part.
For me the way to go is selling digital products.
Info products, software, subscriptions etc
There’s no time/money limit on this and it’s still a great feeling for me when I
get to my desk in the morning and check my overnight sales gures.
Also you create once and sell forever.
You know the score, right?
It’s about making your business model viable.
It’s about making things easy for yourself.

So now we come down to the nitty-gritty.
Here’s one of the biggest objections to why someone should sell info
products, especially in the internet marketing niche:
But I don’t have any experience, sales gures history, reputation or
proof - what can I possibly sell that someone would want to buy?
Well rstly you need to man-UP here (or woman-up)
Every single successful marketer has been in this situation.
EVERY SINGLE ONE started out with zero of the above.
Which obviously means there are ways around this, right?
I’ve suggested various ways to do this in the past - selling products that
don’t need any social proof such as PLR, software, resources, rolodexes etc.
But if I was in this situation - this is the way I’d do it now (next chapter)

4. Standing on the Shoulders of
Giants…To Get Paid
Get it FIRMLY out of your head that you’ll be an innovator in your niche.
These people exist, but they’re the exception to the rule.
They’re people like Henry Ford, Steve Jobs and perhaps Elon Musk.
You’re not.
That’s no insult because neither am I.
Here’s the thing - the person who invented the computer isn’t the person
who made the most money from it.
17
How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
The person who invented the car isn’t the person who made most money
from it.
Yet we have hundreds of di erent models of car to choose from that all work
basically the same way.
Underneath they’re all wheels and engines and driveshafts and seats and
stu .
The only di erence is that di erent sellers put their own spin on them and
now you can pretty much instantly tell the di erence between a BMW and a
Mercedes.. They both sell well though…
Let me tell you about the people who’s stu I like own this industry
People like Dan Kennedy, Frank Kern, Gary Halbert…
None of them invented direct mail, or info products or long form sales letters.
They just put their own spin on it and out of all the marketers who put their
own spin on these strategies, I chose to follow the three above because I like
HOW they do it.
I like their presentation, their quirks, their opinions and their who ‘take’ on
how to do it.
This is what most successful businesses do.
It doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel.
It doesn’t try to innovate.
It stands of the shoulders of all the people and companies in the same niche
who came before, and it nds its own place
18

How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
This is a model that works.
It has worked for me and all the people I know who are successful
marketers.
Let me tell you about successful marketers in my niche…
They’re gonna kill me for this but NONE of us are true innovators.
We’re original and unique in the way we present existing strategies,
methods and techniques.
We’ve DEFINITELY put our own spin and opinions into the products we
create about this things
But innovators we are NOT.
And unless you are one of those rare, driven individuals, neither should you
strive to be.
It’s the old story about the rst gold rush pioneers getting arrows in their
back and those who came after made a fortune following in their footsteps.
But you DO need to be unique in who you are and how you present
these existing ideas to your own audience.
If you doubt me, go look at every single info product you’ve ever bought.
Look at the sales page.
Makes the product sound pretty unique right?
Exciting.
Now go read it or watch the vids.
19
fi
How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
It’s about an existing strategy, I guarantee you.
Now don’t get we wrong - it might be the one that nally gives you the gold
nugget you need to t everything into place.
But it’s still a take on an existing strategy, right?
It’s not a secret method for turning garlic butter into rubies.
You getting what I’m saying?
Your products and your take are your business!
You ARE probably going to change people’s lives by helping them, and your
thoughts and your insights might indirectly change the world.
But don’t try and discover a new planet.
Get your head around the fact that you’re going to be adding a chapter to
the book, not rewriting it altogether.
In case you hadn’t worked it out, this chapter is aimed at those people
who think they can’t create a certain product because ‘it’s already been
done’
Everything’s been done.
Get over yourself.
Go create
Here’s HOW to do it…

5. How To Create a New Info
Product In Four Days
Basically, you take existing information, rewrite it, turn it into courses,
publications, workshops, coaching programs or whatever format you want to
put it into
You can’t plagiarise or you’ll get into legal crap
But you can put your own spin on ideas, and use your own terminology.
Look - If I have strategy that I call ‘The Peanut System’ and the basis of the
course is a three-step program about how to create sales funnels.
I might break it soon into:
1. Step 1 - The Kernel
2. Step 2 - Cracking The Shell
3. Step 3 - Eating The Nut
21
How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
(Not sure about that last one :)
You look at it and think Wow - that’s Tony’s unique publication, how did he
come up with that? - What a bloody genius - “The Peanut System” blimey!
But the entire thing might be based on a book by Daniel Priestly (I’m a fan) or
a YouTube presentation I saw by Dan Kennedy, or maybe a chapter I read in
one of Russell Brunson’s Funnel Hacking books?
Or more likely a combination of all of them combined with my own thoughts
and opinions.
I took the idea I read, thought about it for an hour, made some notes about
how I might tweak it or do things di erently, then I gave it a silly fucking title
and named the steps something equally ‘di erent’
I might have turned Dan’s ve step notion into MY three step one by
combining steps.
I might have added a bit of my own wit and profanity to Russel’s clever (but
frankly boring) book chapter, but in the end I’m sourcing ideas that I like and
making them my own.
Oh - and where do you think THOSE guys got their ideas from?
They’d like you to assume they’re unique, and of course their titles, steps
and labels ARE unique…
But the original ideas? Maybe they came from THEIR heroes -people like Zig
Ziglar, Richard Branson, and Cory Rudl.
And go back another step to Napoleon Hill, David Ogilvy and maybe even
Charles Darwin.
You get what I’m saying?
Look at this:

How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
This is Blinkist.
It’s one of the best £5’s I spend each month (or whatever it costs today)
Here’s a random book I selected that is related to my niche:
Now here’s the gold…
As well as getting a summary of the book, an overview of the author, a bit of
insight into what it’s about and so on, you get these:
The KEY IDEAS:

Seriously - a couple of those key ideas could be stand-alone products.
If you click on the arrows they expand to a summary of each key idea.
24

I’ve never read this book, never heard of it before I don’t think - I just

this.
Now get yourself over to Warrior Plus, Jvzoo and ClickBank.
Do some research and nd the best-selling products in your niche for the
past week, month, year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years etc.
You soon see a pattern.
Them’s yer subject areas
Those are the kind of product you create.
Put your own spin on it, give it a fancy title, come up with a concept and

I have courses called ‘Stop Kicking The Cat’, Flipping The Switch’, Magic

to start with :)
For me, creating your own info products is the best model in my niche
because I can create something once then pro t from it forever, as I sleep.
It costs me time, but apart from that, most of the revenue is pure pro t.
There’s aren’t many business models like this.

6. Other Things To Sell
We’re back to numbers here.
So whether you’re considering coaching, an e-com shop, software or
whatever it ALL comes down to making sure your numbers stack.
If you’re going for our $100,000 target gure and you’re a coach you need to
work out how long you will coach for (an hour, a week, a month) how much
your fee is and how many clients you need to hit $8,400 a month ($100k a
year) in pro table income.
Whatever you sell, it’s about what costs you to create the product, how
much you sell it for and how many you need to sell.
Expenses and revenue.
26
fi
fi
How To Make $100,000 Online In A Year Or Less
My STRONGEST advice, as I said earlier, would be to sit yourself down for
an hour with a paper and pen and jot down the gures you would need to
meet to achieve your target gure.
DO IT BEFORE YOU DECIDE ON YOUR BUSINESS MODEL!
I do this for every productI create.
And I track my actual stats, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly on a
spreadsheet.
I even have colour codes for days to show me at a glance which days I hit
my minimum daily gure exceeded that or didn’t meet it at all.
If I see ANY red in my spreadsheet I’m like a bear with a sore head for a few
days - grumpy until I work out what happened.
