Short Story
Lina had always been fascinated by her grandmother's old house. It stood at the edge of a quiet village, surrounded by trees that whispered with the wind. One rainy afternoon, while exploring the attic, she stumbled
upon a dusty book tucked away in an old chest.
Curious, she opened it. A bright flash of light filled the room, and in the blink of an eye, Lina found herself standing at the edge of an enchanted forest. The trees were tall, their leaves shimmering in the soft light of the
setting sun. A wise old owl perched on a branch and greeted her.
“You have come to restore balance,” the owl said. “The Heart of the Forest has been stolen, and only you can return it.”
With no time to lose, Lina set off on her journey, determined to find the Heart. Along the way, she encountered magical creatures—a mischievous elf, a talking squirrel, and a river that sang songs of ancient times. Each
encounter taught her something new about the enchanted world she had entered.
After days of travel, she reached the dark fortress where the Heart was held. There, she met the guardian—a lonely giant who had taken the Heart out of sorrow. Instead of fighting, Lina spoke to him with kindness,
offering her friendship and understanding.
The giant, moved by her compassion, returned the Heart of the Forest, and the land began to flourish once again. Lina was whisked back to the attic, the book now gone. But she would never forget the adventure that
had changed her life forever.
