Essential Information The Exam

DATE: Thursday; May 16, 2024 90 Minutes


ARRRIVE @ 11:30AM
EXAM BEGINS PROMPTLY @ 12:00PM 90 Minutes

“In order to have a successful testing experience, be aware of what is expected of you and what testing room conditions will be. Carefully review the
test security and test administration policies/ procedures. If you have any questions about how exam day will work, talk to your AP coordinator.”

Before Heading to Campus


• Wake up early, so you are not rushed
• Dress in comfy clothes
o Layers are best! Temperatures fluctuate so be ready for anything!
• EAT a smart, healthy breakfast.
o Also… I bring PIZZA
d for all!!
o You can bring a snack but it cannot be kept in the room as per College Board rules.

What to Bring to the Exam Room


• Multiple Choice: Several sharpened No. 2 pencils/mechanical pencils with erasers, for all responses on
your multiple-choice answer sheet.
• Free Response: Pens with black or dark blue ink for completing areas on the exam booklet covers and
for free-response questions in most exams.

• Up to 2 approved calculators with


the necessary capabilities for taking
the AP Biology exam.

• A watch that does not have internet access, does not beep, and does not have an alarm.

What NOT to Bring to the Exam Room*


• Electronics (cell phone, smartphone, laptop, tablet computer, etc.), portable listening or recording devices
(MP3 player, iPod®, etc.), cameras/photographic equipment, devices that can access the internet, & any
other electronic or other communication devices. Haha… but no.
• Books, compasses, protractors, correction fluid, Not on AP day.
dictionaries, highlighters, notes, or colored pencils.
• Watches that beep or have an alarm or smartwatches.
• Clothing with subject-related information.
• Food or drink.
