are going to talk you about an
important feeling, The fear, so let’s
begin.
NAHIA: Today I will talk about the
feeling "fear", what it makes me feel
and when I am afraid
CONTENT
For each person (group member) write CHRISTIAN : I decided to choose fear
about the following information: because I believe it is a very inherent
feeling and emotion in us humans. It is
• Why did you choose that emotion or that sense of alert that warns us of
feeling? dangers and keeps us humans alive; it
is that survival instinct. Additionally, it is
• How does that emotion or feeling an emotion that makes us move away
represents you? from what harms us, seeking our well-
being even though it has its
• Is there an opposite feeling or drawbacks. If fear is not well controlled,
emotion to the one you chose? and we live solely under this emotion,
we can restrain ourselves from many
experiences and emotions for fear of
something happening to us, or fear of
punishment from a higher power.
For me, fear represents something that
makes me feel alive, and as we say
here in Bucaramanga, "in the game." I
believe it makes me stay aware of
taking care of myself and those I love,
and to protect them when they need it.
However, I think that in my case, I have
had so many situations that have made
me fear things I shouldn't fear, they
have made me more reserved in my
relationships, more discreet, and
perhaps more serious. So, I believe
that fear consumes me in many of
these situations, and I am aware of
that.
I suppose courage is the opposite of
fear, it is what actually motivates you to
face fear, to face everything that
terrifies you, and it helps you overcome
fears. I think we must learn to have a
balance between fear and courage, to
be cautious when necessary but never
to be cowards, and instead be
someone with the ability to take action
when it is necessary.
DAVID: I chose to talk about fear
because I feel that it is a very important
emotion because it is what helps us
avoid doing risky or foolish things. I feel
that it is an emotion that is undervalued
because people associate it as a
negative emotion, although we forget
that Perhaps that emotion is what has
helped us not suffer an accident, it is
true that sometimes we inhibit
ourselves from doing certain things out
of fear, but it is important to learn to
discern between unfounded fear and
the own fear that we may have
regarding something.
I consider that fear represents me in a
certain way because I generally try to
make decisions with caution because I
fear making mistakes and that bad
things will happen, so thanks to fear, I
always think carefully about my
decisions, and fear is not entirely bad
because understanding fear It also
helps me to help and motivate others
when they feel very afraid.
Furthermore, if sometimes I feel that I
am not able to do something important
because of fear, then I think that
maybe it is good to face that fear and
see what happens, so in a certain way
Fear is also a way to motivate me
although it may sound a little strange.
It could be said that bravery or courage
are the opposite of fear, although it is
certainly thanks to fear that these
emotions arise, bravery or courage
arise when you decide to face that fear,
when you trust yourself and do not let
fear guide you. It is when you are being
brave, so more than the absence of
fear, it is the determination to face fear
that makes these emotions opposite in
a certain way to fear. There is a song
that I really like and one of its verses
says: "I overcome the fear, beyond the
darkness my soul shall rise" and I
precisely like that verse because it is
the one that encourages me not to give
in to fear or worry when I find myself in
difficult situations.
NAHIA: I chose fear because it is an
emotion that arise a particular interest
due to its impact on people's daily
lives. It is one of the most basic and
primitive emotions that we experience
as human beings, and its presence can
be intense and overwhelming.
Fear represents me as a feeling of
insecurity and vulnerability. When we
experience fear, we feel that we are in
danger or that something threatens our
physical, emotional or psychological
well-being. This sensation can manifest
itself in different ways, such as
sweating, accelerated heart rate,
tremors or muscle tension.
The feeling opposite to fear would be
courage or confidence. While fear
makes us feel vulnerable and insecure,
courage and confidence give us the
strength and determination to face
difficult situations with courage and
confidence in ourselves.
These feelings allow us to overcome
fear and act in spite of it, facing our
fears and challenges with
determination and resolution.
Colombia is a country where gender
violence is something totally terrifying
for women. Because of this, I could say
that my greatest fear and that of many
women is going out into the streets,
suffering from harassment, violence,
discrimination and other worrying
situations.
ENDING
Farewell CHRISTIAN : That's all from me, and

expression.)

identified with what we talked about,
and thank you very much for listening
