Topic: Let us assume that you have been hired as HR consultant of the
company. Can you create a model of good organizational culture that CEO
asked CPO to create?

A chief people officer can start by mapping out all significant roles, from lowest-level
employees to executives.

• Hire the talent For the Organization:

Focus on candidate experience and ensure that hire the high-impact employees.
Developing strategies to attract and hire top talent, and ensuring the business has
the right people in the right positions.

• Performance Management:

Create a culture of high performance that’s directly impact on business requirement.


Enhance skills in the existing workforce and ensure programmed adoptive career
growth and identify talent for promotion opportunities.

• Training and Development:

Training is an essential component of professional development. Enhance skills in


the existing workforce with career growth and identify talent for promotion
opportunities.

• Diverse leadership in the organization:


Create a better environment for every employee where they can succeed, no matter
what their age, disability, gender, religion. As important as creating equal
opportunities at organization is on a human level, it’s also essential for retention,
collaboration and success.

• Great Corporate culture:

Great corporate culture is aligned with organization values, mission and goals.

• Workplace Safety:
Workplace safety is another most important part for any organization. How capable
an organization is in facilitating a safe, hazard-free work environment for its
employees also says a lot about its work culture. To make employees aware of the
safety measures that are in place, impart training to handle incidents, injuries, and
lay down concrete workplace safety policies ensuring employee safety and well-
being etc. is yet another essential exercise managed by the HR managers.

• Legal Compliance:
Ensures the organization complies with employment laws and recommends training
and education initiatives to ensure compliance from employees and line managers.

• Implement the proper compensation Strategy

The compensation strategy should be like reflect how employee want from a
company, that will help attract top talent while any recruitment.

• Manage the Benefits Programs

Manage or establish employee benefit program such as life insurance, retirement


savings plan etc.

A Sustainable conversation model will create a continuous growth for any


organization or any institution.

Topic 1: Draw a sustainable corporate governance model

In Bangladesh 85-90% corporate governance are only structural not value driven. But for a
sustainable business a value driven corporate governance is must require for any
organization.

Topic 2: corporate governance model that will be accepted by investment


bank

a. Stakeholder area: Here found this is a family business. There is no individual CEO
or CFO so here stakeholders’ facility and ethical standard will be considered as per
good relation with the family members of company.

Solution that is expected by the investment bank: There should be an independent


audit department and CFO will also liable to audit department to all payment and
investments. And there should be COO/CEO for fairness to all stakeholder.

b. Board/ Management area: Here found board members are running individual
department so it is not a value driven CG. Management should run the department
and board member should create the structure of company running policy and
management will follow that.
Solution that is expected by the investment bank: Here board should not provide
operational guidelines that will be control by the management.

c. Employs area: Here employees are not properly organized. As head of finance only
reports to one brother.

Solution that is expected by the investment bank: All job specifications should be
ethically accepted. There should be transparent with full and correct disclosure.

d. Customers/ Buyers Area/ Suppliers area: As here standalone ethical standard


is observed.

Solution that is expected by the investment bank: Ethical standard should be written
and there should be check and balance.

e. Investors/ Lenders area: Here found only one brother is involved with head of
audits.

Solution that is expected by the investment bank: Audit departments reports should
be transparent and publish to all investors for transparency.

f. Government area: Here found personal expense are spend directly from company
account.

Solution that is expected by the investment bank: Company expense and personal
expense should be separate.
