I. Investigating & Planning
The goal
My project aims to see how working out can improve mental health and
further my knowledge of working out. This project targets my physical and
mental health, which are significant parts of surviving and functioning. For
example, mental illness is one of the most significant leading issues in our society
to this day. Every day, struggling kids go unnoticed and sometimes do not know
how to cope. This helps bring awareness to mentally being fit and physically.
Sometimes adolescents do not like to express their issues and like to work on
themselves in privacy. This project portrays that changing just a tiny part of
someone's day can lead to a change. For many people, the biggest step is starting;
having someone as a reference is always a good start, which is one of the roles of
my project. Continuing physical well-being is a crucial component of staying fit.
To this day, obesity is one of the most prominent issues in physical health. This
project targets a population of people who fall under this category. This project
targets two of the most significant health factors, and by the end of the project, I
can share my results and inspire others. My sub-goal was to create a workout
schedule and stick to it to find what worked for me, which significantly
contributed to assessing my goal. Before deciding on my exact goal, I had to see
how the goal would be executed, so that played a massive role in deciphering
what my goal was based on. Before starting the project I had some prior
knowledge to working out. For example, I knew certain workouts improved
certain areas but was unsure how well it actually affected the areas. I knew eating
healthy would help but I was unsure of what exactly to eat. This purpose was to
find what could work most effectively and not set unattainable goals. The goal I
chose is important to me because, throughout my life, I have had friends deal with
specific issues mentally that are out of my control. They have had professional
help, but I always felt terrible that I could not help them with what they were
going through. Not only was my goal to see how working out improves mental
health, but it was also to inspire and help others.
II. Selection of Sources
Demonstrate research skills
Throughout this project, I used a variety of sources to assist my project
and to reach my end goal. For example, one of my sources was called 7 Stiff Back
Stretches by AskDoctorJo (March 2017). This video described a multitude of
different types of stretches to help the back. One of the stretches is known as the
prayer pose. This is where you get on your knees and sit down. Then, you push
the pelvis back and lean your arms forward. This was one of the stretches that
helped me the most to relieve my back pain from lifting. I chose to use this video
since the comments on it were positive, and I was struggling with back pain. This
video is a useful and reliable source since it shows lots of examples, and many
people use the videos. Also, the key to having a healthy spine is to have a strong
core. This can prevent the back from getting injured or hurt. At first, I was going
to do the 15 MIN TOTAL CORE/AB WORKOUT (No Equipment, No Repeats).
On Youtube then I did more research. After researching, I found that strictly core
workouts barely help with core strength. I learned that lifting more weights and
increasing protein intake can help make your body stronger. Therefore, I did not
use this source. However, athletic trainer Sean Benevides helped teach me that
lifting weights is more beneficial to getting stronger and gave me options for what
workout he would think is best. He allowed me to incorporate exercises from my
prior knowledge and put his input. He also knows a lot about nutrition, so he gave
me a rundown of how my plate should look. He was a massive part of this
project's final outcome, and getting one-on-one help with him was a significant
reason I went to him for advice. Also, he taught Brady Benevides most of the
things he knows, so I used him as a source of reassurance and correctness. Both of
them were beneficial resources in assisting. Therefore, his information was
reliable, or I would not see significant results. Continuing the other sources I used
were for geographical purposes. For example, my family traveled twice during
this project towards the end of the week on cardio days. Since I was staying with
family and needed a running spot, I asked them for the best path. My family knew
all the surrounding areas from when I stayed in Gainesville and Tampa, so they
provided me with a route to take when running. Overall, the help I was provided
with was ultimately very beneficial, as the results prove.
III. Taking Action
Application of Information
Overall, my sources helped me make decisions and better understand my
project. The resources I used provided me with the knowledge that was very
beneficial by the end of my project. With their help, I could reach my goal by
working out and helping my mental health. For instance, athletic trainer Sean
Benevides helped me with my diet and the specific exercises to perform.
However, he allowed me to put my personal input and be guided by his
experience. Sean also helped me and advised keeping my body safe since he has
catered to many people's injuries and has lots of experience working with people
who have previously injured themselves. While researching, I realized that it
typically takes months to see results, so this made me make my goal something
that could be attained by hard work and dedication. This helped my final goal
since I was able to receive direct help formulating the workouts and nutrition I
was supposed to be eating. For example, when creating my lower body day, Sean
suggested I have some variation of a squat, and he allowed me to pick which type.
I chose goblet squats because they are easier to do when I'm alone and do not put
as much pressure on my back as opposed to barbell squats. Also, the Youtube
video called 7 Stiff Back Stretches by AskDoctorJo helped me reach my goal since
it helped relieve stress on my back. The videos gave me a better understanding of
how to stretch your back correctly. My bad; being sore and tense did not make me
adjust to my goal. After doing the stretches, I was ready and able to workout the
next day pain-free. My other sources provided geographical information to tell me
where the best stop to complete my run was. This was helpful because I was
unfamiliar with the area, making the run more manageable, which would boost
my end result. I did not have to adjust my goal because of this.
Achieving the Goal
This project aimed to see how working out can improve mental health. I
could see how I improved mentally and physically, which was the purpose. I
graded myself on a scale of 1-5 mentally an hour before and an hour after my
workout. From the start of my project, before working out, my starting average
was lower than it was at the end. This shows the effects of my project and how it
improved me mentally over time. This shows it was not just a momentary thing
but illustrates progress after time. Continuing, my after grade increased compared
to the start also. This is because working out allows me to release any stress or
frustration by working on myself and pushing myself. A problem was staying on a
strict workout schedule because sometimes, especially with school, I felt burnt
out. However, I had to pick myself up and get the workout done. Afterward, I felt
better and was glad I pushed myself. I achieved what I set out to do. This is
because I had great sources cheering me on and trying to keep myself motivated. I
also had to plan out my time accordingly, which I’ve always been good at. I had
to ensure I was not overworking on any specific day. This overall contributed to
reaching my goal.
IV. Reflecting
Reflection on Learning
I have learned that completing this project helped me improve physically
and mentally. Achieving my goal had its ups and downs but overall, I feel like a
new and better version of myself. Achieving this goal definitely wasn’t easy, but it
was worth it in the end. A vital component of this was staying on top of what I
was doing and not procrastinating. This helped me learn to manage my time better
and myself. If I knew I had to work out, I would strategically plan my day out and
allow enough time to do so. This project also helped me learn more about myself
and what works best for me. I knew what workouts specifically worked for me
and how my body reacted. For instance, I figured out I prefer goblet squats rather
than back squats. I also prefer lower body days as opposed to upper body days,
which some people disagree with. Also, my body and mood feel better when I
work in the morning. I like to have a solid start to my day, which provides this for
me. Working out in the morning improves my overall well-being. All these factors
contribute to my end result and how I feel mentally and physically. However,
everything that works for me may not work for other people. Still, there are
various approaches people can take to achieve their personal goals of being
healthier. I figured out that creating a schedule where I target my lower and upper
body and doing a form of cardio works best for me. Also, working out three times
a week worked for me, but in the future, I would be open to the idea of working
out four times a week. Working out three times allowed me to have more time at
home to get things done at home. On the other hand, I could work on myself more
if I worked out three times a week. Throughout the project, I was able to adapt to
what was happening around me and still push through. Even on days when I was
unmotivated, tired, sore, and more, I still pushed myself to workout. As hard as it
was on some days, it forced me to work on myself for myself with a purpose, and
in the end, it paid off. Especially towards the start of the project, my body had to
adjust to a schedule which was a challenge. Researching and being able to convey
information was a big part of my project. I was able to not only put my personal
input but receive advice from others. This helped me figure out what was best and
what to do. If I were to do anything differently in the future for this project would
be to try to work out four days out of the week as opposed to three. I feel like this
would create a more significant impact on the results. It would lead to faster
results, but I would have to plan my time more accordingly. Furthermore, I plan
on continuing to workout as it makes me feel better mentally and physically. I
plan to input these habits into my life outside this project and push myself to grow
more. Due to the results of completing this project, I want to continue working out
and try to workout more. Also, this project is a way for me to not only help
myself but help others. Toward the end of my project, I was able to teach others
after seeing results. Some of my friends asked me for advice, and I was able to
provide help which made me feel proud of myself. I was able to spread awareness
for mental and physical health by setting a role model for people who needed it.
Even though it might not be a drastic change for them, it will still be beneficial as
others decide to work on themselves. Continuing, if I were to rate myself on my
rubric, I would give myself a 4/4 on the completion part since I completed all the
workouts on the specific day. For the correctness portion, I'd rate myself a 4/4
since I always did the proper workout on the right day. However, for the journal
entries part, I would rate myself a ¾. This is because of the rubric; I said I would
complete a journal entry every Saturday. Unfortunately, I did not complete all the
entries on time according to my rubric, but I finished all before the project
deadline. On the flip side, I would rate my presentation a 4/4 since it's very neat,
organized, well-written, and has visuals.
V. Appendices
Workouts June 6th- June 10th
I did workouts that were listed in my timeline to try to make progress towards my end result.
Work completed this week – This week I was able to train in the gym. On June 6th I did weighted bulgarian split squats 4x8, leg
press 4x8, med ball reverse lunges 4x8, and straight leg deadlift 4x8. On June 8th I did bent over row 4x8, bench press 4x8, med
ball core taps 4x30 seconds, and planks 4x45 seconds. Finally, on June 10th I ran 2 miles.
Resources consulted – I gained the assistance of friends to help push myself and work on my form. Since I didn't want to hurt
myself Brady Benevides helped me push myself but still keep my body safe.
ATL(Approaches to Learning) Skills – I kept myself on a tight schedule and made sure to fit everything into my day. I also
used friends who were more familiar with working out to get pointers on how to keep myself safe.
Challenges / difficulties faced – I faced a few difficulties this week. After a hefty leg day I was still sore by Friday so running 2
miles was very challenging. I had to push through and remember to stretch my body to prevent injury.
Evaluation of progress – This starting week there was already a gain in numbers after the workout compared to start. Each
percent is out of 100 and each day is tracked by a scale from 1 to 5 and is counted up at the end of the week. All the numbers are
added together and given a percent. This is used to track the progress in my mood. As the results show, an hour prior to working
out my mood was at 33% however, an hour after my mood was at 66%. There was a dramatic increase in my mood and it's only
the first week. According to our data there is evidence showing that my mood is improving and will hopefully improve more over
the course of this project.
Workouts on June 13-17th
This week I repeated the same workouts as planned. I feel myself gaining more happiness by working out.
Work completed this week – This week I worked out in the gym. On June 13th I did weighted bulgarian split squats 4x8, leg
press 4x8, med ball reverse lunges 4x8, and straight leg deadlift 4x8. On June 15th I bent over row 4x8, bench press 4x8, med
ball core taps 4x30 seconds, and planks 4x45 seconds. Finally, on June 17th I ran 2 miles. These same workouts are repeated
through the whole project.
Resources consulted – For this week's cardio I ran with my mom. She taught me breathing techniques to help control my
breathing better so I wasn't out of breath.
ATL(Approaches to Learning) Skills – I made sure to complete all my workouts in a timely manner and made sure I had clean
workout clothes to wear. I also communicated with my mom on how to improve my running.
Challenges / difficulties faced – In the beginning of the week I felt very tired and almost burnt out in a physical aspect. But as
the week continued I started to gain more energy and feel good. However, this kept me unmotivated because my body was not
used to being on a workout schedule but ended up pulling through at the end and converted my energy.
Evaluation of progress – As we know my tracking is out of 100% and this depends on my mood. The start of this week I felt
mentally better than the prior week to start working out. Also, My after workout final results were at 86% compared to the 66%
in mood the previous week. This shows a clear incline in my mood and how my mental health is increasing because of working
out.
Workouts on June 20th-24th
This week I completed day 1 in the gym but the others used body weight workouts.
Work completed this week – This week I worked out on Monday in the gym but on Wednesday and Friday I had to do an at
home workout since I was out of town. On June 20th I did weighted bulgarian split squats 4x8, leg press 4x8, med ball reverse
lunges 4x8, and straight leg deadlift 4x8. On June 22th I did push ups 3x8, scissor kicks 5x40 seconds, sit ups 4x15, burpees 4x8.
Finally, on June 24th I ran 2 miles.
Resources consulted – This week I had to ask for advice on my push ups because my arms were bending away from my body
and I had to make sure they bend closer to my body. My pushups improved when I brought them closer to my body.
ATL(Approaches to Learning) Skills – I learned how to adjust to not having a gym to workout in everyday since I was on a trip
for a yearbook and a family trip following that. I still allotted time for me to work out in my schedule.
Challenges / difficulties faced – I didn’t have a gym to workout in which at the beginning of the week that got me a little
stressed. I was at first worried my schedule would be too tight but figured out how to complete it by waking up a little earlier and
allowing myself to get going early in the morning to workout.
Evaluation of progress – As I track my progress and mood it is taken out of a percent of 100. This week my mood was at 60%
which is increasing from the other week. There has already been solid progress and change in my mood. By the end of the week I
was feeling very confident and having the feeling of a clearer mind. At the end my mood was at 94% which is a lot better than
prior weeks.
Workouts June 27th through July 1st.
During this time span I complete the same workouts to reach my end goal.
Work completed this week – This week I went to the gym all days this week. On June 27th I did weighted bulgarian split squats
4x8, leg press 4x8, med ball reverse lunges 4x8, and straight leg deadlift 4x8. On June 29th I did bent over row 4x8, bench press
4x8, med ball core taps 4x30 seconds, and planks 4x45 seconds. Finally, on July 1st I ran 2 miles.
Resources consulted – My back felt a little strained after this week so I watched online videos that provided stretches for my
back. I watched a video called 7 Stiff Back Stretches by AskDoctorJoe.
ATL(Approaches to Learning) Skills – I took the measures to ensure my backs safety by doing particular stretches as a cool
down after my workout. By doing this it will not put my back at as much risk and can continue to do my project.
Challenges / difficulties faced – This week's main issue was the back pain. I've always had back pain growing up and sometimes
without stretching it can make my back feel even worse. I was able to watch some videos and learn how to properly stretch my
back which is how I overcame this difficulty.
Evaluation of progress – As we know by the system i've been using to track my mood, the higher the numbers the better. This
week isn't much different from the last. The numbers are the same but still high which is good. My hour before mood is still at
60% and my after is at 94%. I will continue through the rest of the upcoming weeks to try to keep these numbers steady or
increase depending on how I feel. But as we can see there is significant progress.
Workouts July 4th- July 8th
This week I completed the same workouts from my timeline.
Work completed this week – This week I went to the gym all days. On July 4th I did weighted bulgarian split squats 4x8, leg
press 4x8, med ball reverse lunges 4x8, and straight leg deadlift 4x8. On July 6th I did bent over row 4x8, bench press 4x8, med
ball core taps 4x30 seconds, and planks 4x45 seconds. Finally, on July 8th I ran 2 miles.
Resources consulted – This week I was moving my brother into college and my back a little sore and tense from the week prior
so I watched the same back stretching video as last week. Moving his stuff, hanging things, bending at weird angles, and sitting
in a car for continuous hours was not ideal for my back. The video I watched was called 7 Stiff Back Stretches by AskDoctorJoe.
This video helped me be able to keep my body feeling good.
ATL(Approaches to Learning) Skills – Even with the early mornings halfway across the state I still was able to keep my
schedule and work out. I learned that early starts for my body are good and I feel more energized in the morning rather than the
afternoon. This tip will be used in the future.
Challenges / difficulties faced – This week's main issue was the equipment in the gym. I wasn't able to push myself as much as
the weight of the weightes didn't go past 55 pounds. To even this out I aimed to do better and more controlled reps. Also, my
mom and I decided to run on campus and got lost several times which slowed our time and pace down.
Evaluation of progress – As shown throughout my project the higher the numbers equals to a better mood. Throughout the week
I have found that my mood is slightly better in the early morning to workout. For the past 2 weeks my before moof has stayed at
a 60% this week it reached 67% which is the highest it has been. However, my mood after is staying steady at a strong 94%.
Although this has remained the same it's still a high number and shows steps to being at 100%.
Workouts week July 11th- July 15th
I completed the same workouts from my timeline.
Work completed this week - This week I trained all week in the gym. On July 11th I did weighted Bulgarian split squats 4x8,
leg press 4x8, med ball reverse lunges 4x8, and straight leg deadlift 4x8. On July 13th I did bent over row 4x8, bench press 4x8,
med ball core taps 4x30 seconds, and planks 4x45 seconds. Finally, July 15th I ran 2 miles
Resources consulted - Recently my body has felt very worn down and tired from recent workouts due to the increase
in weight and pushing myself even harder. I used the person who I will frequently workout with Brady Benevides to talk
to him about my soreness and pain. We talked about the specific areas I felt sore and what I could do to target those
areas and make them feel better. Some methods he told me about were increasing my water intake, using a foam roller
or massage gun, and increasing my protein intake.
ATL (Approaches to Learning) Skills - I used communication by figuring out how to best stay healthy and be pain
free while working out on a consistent schedule. I stuck with my plan of going to the gym earlier in the morning rather
than in the afternoon and used self management by doing so
Challenges / difficulties faced - The main issue of this week was the increasing of weight used and this caused me
to feel more sore than ever before. I used different methods shown in the resources consulted section to help me
overcome this.
Evaluation of progress - This week my before the workout feeling was a couple percent higher than last week, with
the end feeling staying the same. I feel better about myself using a heavier weight and going earlier in the morning,
but the sore feeling afterwards is what is keeping the score the same as last week. Overall, my mood remained the same from last
week with the before at a 67% and the after at a 94%.
Workout July 18th- July 22nd
This week I did the same workouts from my timeline.
Work completed this week- This week I was able to get into the gym all 3 days and did not have to do an at home workout. On
July 18th I did weighted bulgarian split squats 4x8, leg press 4x8, med ball reverse lunges 4x8, and straight leg deadlift 4x8. On
July 20th I did bent over row 4x8, bench press 4x8, med ball core taps 4x30 seconds, and planks 4×45 seconds. Finally, July 22nd
I ran 2 miles.
Resources consulted- This week I did not have as many issues with soreness and my body felt a lot better. For this week the first
two times I was able to work out with a partner and I communicated to him how my body felt and how I felt less sore and more
active. This help us determine how hard I should push while working out and how much weight I should use. We also talked
about if I felt like I was getting enough sleep even with waking up early in order to feel energized and give my muscles enough
rest. Other than that there was not another resource consulted.
ATL (Approaches to Learning) Skills- I was able to communicate with my workout partner for the beginning of the week how
my body was feeling and how I felt better still with the early morning starts. I managed myself by staying consistent with my
schedule in being able to get up earlier and get ready earlier than I was prior without falling behind in my schedule. I have been
able to keep consistent with my schedule.
Challenges / difficulties faced- This week's issue was upping the intensity in my workouts and not having a workout partner for
the last day. It was tough to switch to working out alone after having a partner to workout with for a couple straight workouts in a
row. Upping the intensity made the workouts more difficult, strenuous and tiring with having to work with heavier weight and
increasing my pace in my two mile run as well. This week was about proving to myself that I can push harder and impress myself
with increasing intensity, and made it difficult at times to go through the workout.
Evaluation of progress- The early morning workouts still show that they help improve my starting mood and motivation for the
workout. Prior to the workout, my mood improved from 67% up to 74%. The beginning mood has seen a constant increase in
percentage with me getting more used to the early morning workouts. After my workouts have still remained at a 94% like the
weeks prior to this week. The increase of mood before the workout was a very big sign of improvement because it is getting me
more used to being up in the morning, I am used to getting going early and it makes me feel better knowing that I will get the
workout done sooner rather than later. The early morning workouts have shown to benefit me in wanting to workout and my
mood as a whole.
Workouts July 25th- July 29th
This week I completed the same workouts from my timeline.
Work completed this week- This week, similar to last week, I did not have any issue with not being able to get into the gym all
3 scheduled days. On July 25th I did weighted bulgarian split squats 4x8, leg press 4x8, med ball reverse lunges 4x8, and straight
leg deadlift 4x8. On July 27th I did bent over rows 4x8, bench press 4x8, med ball core taps 4x30 seconds, and planks 4×45
seconds. Finally, July 29th I ran 2 miles.
Resources consulted- This week, I used athletic trainer Sean Benevides to talk about how I could improve my mood even more
from what it has been in prior weeks. We talked about my eating habits and where and how I could improve. I worked on adding
more clean protein to my diet after a workout, such as white meat chicken and protein drinks, and also eating stuff with enough
carbohydrates, fluids, and healthy sugars to boost my energy for the workout. Before my workout, I would have some fruits like a
banana, and carbs like granola, oats, and even rice krispies. I felt this helped improve my mood before and after the workouts
every day.
ATL (Approaches to Learning) Skills- I have continued with my ability to communicate what I think would help my mood and
workouts along with listening to people's recommendations to help better myself. This week I specified more on eating habits and
diet to help improve my mood. I also used self management to keep consistent with my workout times and being able to manage
what I eat most importantly before and after my workouts.
Challenges / difficulties faced- A difficulty I faced was that this week, I started managing how much and what I ate before and
after my workouts by tracking macronutrients in almost everything I ate. There would be times where this was hard to keep up
with and I would forget or not be able to find the exact macros in a food.
Evaluation of progress- My before workout mood evaluation this week jumped from a 74% to an 80% found in my recordings
this week. With my pre workout mood increasing, my post workout mood also increased 6%, getting all the way up to 100%. I
believe that this mood increase was due to me improving my eating habits before and after my workouts, and being able to keep
what I ate a little cleaner and healthier especially right before and right after workouts. I have also been able to increase the
weight used in some areas and am also feeling a strength boost from it as well.
Workouts week August 1st- August 5th
I completed the same workouts from my timeline.
Work completed this week- This week I had to do one workout outside of the gym due to being out of town on Friday. On
Monday and Wednesday, I was able to continue with weighted bulgarian split squats 4x8, leg press 4x8, med ball reverse lunges
4x8, and straight leg deadlift 4x8 and then bent over rows 4x8, bench press 4x8, med ball core taps 4x30 seconds, and planks
4×45 seconds. On Friday, I was on the west coast of Florida on a little island called Boca Grande. It was a small straight and thin
island that had a big path for golf carts and runners. I used this path to complete my two mile run and it was a nice change of
scenery and location.
Resources consulted- I talked to my friend's mom about the best path and what exact path to take to go on a run on the island
and get back home easily and safely. I asked her because this is her family’s house and she knows the island better than anyone
else who was staying there.
ATL (Approaches to Learning) Skills- I used communication skills to figure out the best running path for me to safely and
efficiently run my two miles on Friday, along with self management because I stuck to my workout plan and I was also able to
get the workout in while on vacation for a few days.
Challenges / difficulties faced- A difficulty I faced this week was the tightness in my body after getting out of the car after 3
hours and having to go on a run shortly after so it didn’t get dark. I felt a little uncomfortable and my muscles felt a little tight
while running but I was able to get the running done.
Evaluation of progress- My hour before my workout percentage dropped down to 74%, due to the last day I felt a little tighter
and more tired than I usually do with it being a little later in the day and having a long car ride. My post workout percentage on
the other hand remained at 100% because the workouts made me feel good and accomplished and also the run helped stretch out
my muscles and get my body moving again after that long drive.
Workouts from August 8th- August 12th.
During this week I finished my project by completing all the same workouts from my timeline.
Work completed this week- This week was a successful week with getting into the gym every day. Although I was able to get in
the gym for three days, I was not able to go early in the morning due to school starting up for the last two workouts. On August
8th I did weighted Bulgarian split squats 4x8, leg press 4x8, med ball reverse lunges 4x8, and straight leg deadlift 4x8. On
August 10th, I completed bent over rows 4x8, bench press 4x8, med ball core taps 4x30 seconds, and planks 4×45 seconds.
Finally, August 12th I ran 2 miles.
Resources consulted- I used Brady Benevides as my resource who told me some stretches I could do to prevent tightness before
a workout and I worked out with him all 3 workouts. He helped me with doing proper stretches so I felt my best before I worked
out and did not injure myself.
ATL (Approaches to Learning) Skills- This week I used self management to keep up with my workout schedule and to stay
healthy by stretching out to also feel my best. I was able to continue my workouts even with school starting and having to
workout later.
Challenges / difficulties faced- With school starting, getting home from school and having to workout later made it difficult to
want to get up and go workout with being more tired and knowing I had homework to do as well.
Evaluation of progress- This week we started school and I wasn’t able to get into the gym early morning on two of the days. I
started at 74% due to not being able to go to the gym early and getting back into a schedule. As a result, my mood wasn’t at its
peak. However, after I felt energized and really good, which led my mood to be at 100%. What I realized since it's the end of my
workouts for journal entries is I'm going to continue my workouts outside of the project. I realized working out doesn’t only
improve my body physically but mentally too. After working out on a schedule for weeks my body got into the habit and was
motivated to go to the gym. Going to the gym helped improve my mental state of mind, which led me to feeling better in all
aspects. I also learned that everyone's bodies reacted differently to working out. For example, I workout better and feel more
prepared when I go to the gym in the morning. However, some of the people I went to the gym with prefer working out at later
times and helps them feel better. This shows that everyone's bodies are different and can react to different things a particular way.
