Intro
Your investment of $100 million could possible make you more than hundreds of millions in return. This
movie would be a hunger games-type movie with a bit of comedy like The Hunt. For this movie sort, the
possible target audience would be ages 13+, no specific gender on this movie and no specific ethnic group
since this movie would interest all people. A level 3 in special effects since cgi will not be used as much
throughout the entire movie, a B-list for actor pass since a probable box office draw can become a major box
office draw if a strong storyline is placed and the location package would be a 4 since this movie would be
recorded in a forest-like environment. Hunger games has made big headlines on news outlets and was
extremely popular throughout the entirety of 2012-2014, so making a movie like hunger games, but with a bit
more comedy would pleasure the more mature part of society.
My Idea
The main idea of this is that my movie is a really exciting and funny movie and it should be worth the $100
million investment. Any at the age of 13+ could watch this, it has a lot of genres like action-adventure,
comedy, suspense, and most importantly, fiction.
Premise 1
As to my initial reason why I feel this investment would be a blockbuster is because anyone can watch this movie if they are old
enough. Majority of the people who are interested in these type of movies tend to be 13 and up. Thanks to
[Link], it is stated that the movie hunger games is infact aged 14+, but my movie would be a bit
comedic, so it would suit the older,more mature ages. When it comes to what specific genders would watch this movie, I'd say
any gender/unisex since, like I said, anyone can watch this, same with the ethnic group's, anyone can watch this. Since anyone
can watch this, well then more people would want to see it, which would in turn, give you a better box office gross.
Premise 2
Now for my second reason why an investment into something like this is a monumental idea is because the level of effects,actors
and the location needed would make this movie legendary. Of course, the story has to bring people in and it has to give people a
good reason as to why they want to watch this movie and why they would want to suggest it to friends and family. The main
reason why the film hunger games was popular back then was because it had great actors, fabulous special effects for brawling
scenes, making it more exciting than ever before and last but not least, where the film was recorded. I feel that this level of
action would make it worth the $100 million that would be put into this investment. Finer effects mixed with acceptable actors
and a pleasant location to shoot this movie would give you a movie everyone wants to chat with one another.
Rebuttal
Lets say you were thinking "Why would I invest $100 million into a hunger games-like movie even though hunger games died off
half a decade ago"? Well, this type of movie will be like hunger games,yes, but it will be more divergent with more than what the
actual hunger games were to offer. Like said before, this movie will have better effects, a nicer, more fitting environment and
actors that can live up to their role on the movie. If all the hunger game movies were able to make a box office gross of $600
million+ per movie (thanks to google) , then the investment that you could put onto this movie idea could aleast make you 5
times the orginal investment. If the movie is that good, the money that was made from people buying tickets could be used for a
sequel of the same movie but more advanced and vast.
Conclusion
Now my movie idea has to interest you atleast a bit. It's exhilarating and lots of action with a bit of comedy, meaning that age
groups vary from tweens and teens to adults. This movie would have quality looking effects, a setting to one's liking, with
outstanding actors. You won't need to fret about the possibility of this dying off quick or if it would make as much money as you
expected if the actual hunger games could make $600 million+ U.S dollars. This possibility could become reality if only the $100
million investment could come true. Many elements and thought could be put into this singular masterpiece.
