Final reflection
Over the span of the course, AIQS,there have been many unpredictabilities in my writing
process. It has not been [Link] contents of my essay varied with my fluctuating
thought process . It came to a standstill when I ran out of perspectives and flowed right
on the page when the thoughts ebbed from my mind. This uncertainty and irregularity in
my thought process prevented me from finding a perfect structure for my writings . After
taking this course , I got the opportunity to channelize my thought process in a productive
and optimistic manner. Just like one of the plays we analyzed, Arcadia, which talks about
order and chaos in nature as well as thought process , I understood that the basic human
nature is chaotic and that is reflected in their writings . It brings out the imperfect and
humanistic process of creating a perfect outcome. Countless revisions and considering
different perspectives, helped me achieve an organized structure to my essays . All of my
essays along with theirs drafts not only conveys the idea that was meant to be conveyed
but also the relentless process occurred in making that come true . Right from basic
syntaxes in sentence structuring to missing evidences and proofs, I feel I have grown
past my old habits. This course also helped me understand science and literature in a
completely different light. All the characters within each novel, play or short story has
their own understandings of science. Every character has their own battles that they
wage. Some wage moral battles, while some wage battles to show the world that they are
perfect just the way they are. Irrespective of all the disabilities that every character has
experienced , be it physically or emotionally,in the form of helplessness, or in the form of
flawed rationalism, I have experienced science in its best as well as worst form. Where

science can heal and reestablish relationships, it can also leave an indelible mark on a
person’s life . This can be in the form of immoral decisions that will leave a person in
guilt forever or even worse, let the person think that he has the ultimate power in altering
science in order to satisfy his greeds. Where science can further some’s effort, it can also
pressurize some into establishing theories and discoveries where all they can think is how
to overcome their slumps. On the brighter side, science and literature also connect with
each through the many plays and novels , I have read up till now within this course .
Storytelling is a beautiful process that has transcended ages and eras. Through the process
of poetic musings and amusing stories , complex scientific theories become more
accessible and well comprehending to the masses.
Science, for me had always been this intangible form, that can never be explained in an easy
manner to the common masses . It was always difficult for me to convey the real essence
of science, explain its theories in a more comprehensible way to my younger cousins or
grandma, who have no theoretical knowledge about the theories I studied in high school.
But this course overall has equipped me with a magnifying glass. A glass that allows me
to read in between the lines and understand real life , its daily applications and the way it
has been presented in the literature I have read so far. The beautiful yet simple art of
storytelling helps convey the most complex of the scientific ideas without dumbing down
its real essence. The manner in which this art of storytelling unfolds, brings me closer to
understanding science, not only in its logical form but also its humane form.
