Triangle Angles and Classifications

The document explains the relationships between interior and exterior angles in triangles, particularly focusing on equilateral and isosceles triangles. It details how the angles in an equilateral triangle sum to 180 degrees, with each angle measuring 60 degrees, while the exterior angles sum to 360 degrees. Additionally, it discusses how to calculate angles greater than 180 degrees using a protractor.

Classifying Triangles
By adding up the two opposite
interior angles, we get the
exterior (opposite) angle.

Let's say the three interior angles of an equilateral

triangle are: a, b, c

a+b+c = 180

as we know in equilateral triangle all sides and all

angles are equal to each other, so wo distribute 180
equally into 3 angles as:
60+60+60=180

In an equilateral triangles, all the three sides are

equal to each other and hence all the interioir
T= 4k+ 2
work out the value of k
angles are also equal to each other.

when t = 14
Because its an equilateral triangle, so the exterior
angles would also be equal to each other so,
120+120+120 = 360 .

180 - 84 = 96
as we know that this is as isoclese
triangle so base angkes are equal:
96/2 = 48
p = 48

(n-2) * 180

as we know that
one protector
can only draw an
angle of 180 at
one time. so if
we want to draw
an angle of 220
degree, we have
to start by
drawing the
smaller angle:
360-220 = 140.

angle more than 180

and less than 360
