METHODOLOGY
Research Design
The research utilize quantitative method is being used to learn how the barangay
Boalan prepared in disaster. In order to see where the barangay improve there preparedness in
every calamity happen to there barangay.
This kind of research examines the reasons of an event and explains the current
condition of facts. Its primary objective is to figure out the current circumstances or
characteristics of a research subject.
further characterizes descriptive research as a research methodology that tries to
describe "what is" by describing what that exists, such as the status, condition, or
confirmation of a hypothesis.
This study will be conducted through actual that contains the survey questionnaires to
be answered by the Residents of Barangay Boalan Zamboanga City
Research Locale
This study will be conducted in Boalan, Zamboanga City, focusing on .how the
barangay Boalan prepared in disaster. I In order to make action in the situation, the research
attempts to evaluate the diverse array of community initiatives.
There will be [insert number of participants] in the study. Additionally, taking into
account elements like social isolation, stigma, and prejudice, it will examine how community
attitudes and views affect the reintegration process. In quantitative research, this method is
essential since it guarantees that participants have pertinent experiences and insights that can
support the goals of the study.
The researchers' top priority will be to find volunteers who are willing to complete the
given questionnaire. In order to the barangay Boalan prepared in disaster.
romote social reintegration and create a more inclusive society for those who have served
time in prison, this research attempts to identify best practices and possible areas for
development by analyzing the interaction between community activities and individual
experiences
Population
As of 2019, the total population of Barangay Boalan was recorded as 11,570. The
Barangay residents, which attests to its thriving environment and active community. This
large population makes a substantial contribution to the social and economic fabric of the

History
The story goes that during the Spanish era, a group of Spanish soldiers came upon this
place and they saw a small nipa hut which happened to be inhabited by a Chinese. When they
approached the Chinese, the soldiers inquired about the name of the place, the Chinese who
hardly understand Spanish replied by uttering the word “bolang” which means in Chinese
language as “no people”, thinking that he was being asked about the other people living in the
neighborhood. That time rare are the individuals living in the place. Hence, the Spaniards
took it as the answer to their question and even went to the extent of understanding it as
“Boalan” instead of Bolang. Then and there, the word Boalan sprung as the name of this
Barangay.
Population and Sampling Design
The respondents of the study are the residents of Barangay Boalan as the target
population composing of 11,570 who are Bonafide residents of the said barangay. There are
100 respondents which are 50 male and 50 female regardless of age. Each of them will be
given a survey questionnaires and will be asked to answer accordingly. A total enumeration
will be used to obtain the number of respondents

The study's target population the people who live in Boalan, Zamboanga City, is
described in Table 1. There will be 100 responders in all, with 50 people in each gender
category. The use of stratified sampling guarantees representation in a range of age groups. A
survey questionnaire will be sent to each respondent in order to gather data. The information
acquired will help to shed light on the gender -specific variations in the community.
Data Gathering Tool
Data for this research was collected using a Research made instrument. The first
section gathered respondent profiles, while the second section assessed their Practices. The
survey questionnaire was based on a five points scale, ranging from Strongly agree to Agree,
Neutral, Disagree to Strongly Disagree.
The questionnaire was divided inen two parts: Part 1 gathered the respondents' profile
information, while Part 2 assessed their perceptions of the local businesses employeement
to the Incarcerated Person. The questions were aligned with the study's objectives and
focused on the following indicators: To know the level of influence of the past conviction,
they are having a hard time finding a job.
Rellability and Validity
To achieve the validity and reliability,To validate the survey questionnaires, the
researchers asked professionals in the School of Criminal Justice field. They gave them both
a hard copy and a soft copy, which would be evaluated. The researchers will applyand obtain
accuracy following the panels' validations.
Ethical Consideration
The researchers followed When conducting this study using human participants, ethical
considerations were [Link] the conduct of the study, researchers made sure
respondent confidentiality was always upheld by adhering to stringent ethical guidelines. All
collected data was kept under strict confidentiality. Participants' ethical treatment was given
top priority in the study.
Before completing the study, the participants are given to a briefing on the survey. To
protect searchers from physical or psychological harm, the Researchers explained the study's
purpose. The researcher knew that participants given the option to accept or reject
participation in the study.
Data Gathering Procedure
The research was approved after a letter of authorization was submitted to the college
dean. The researchers collected information from the responders who agreed to take part in
the study after the letters were approved. following the respondents' completion of the survey
questions. After using Survey Questioner to collect the data, the researchers performed
statistical calculations.
Statistical tools
The researcher used percentages, averages, and frequency counts to examine the
information gathered from the respondents using a checklist. After processing the collected
data, a statistician determined the average response from all of the participants.
The weighted mean was employed to assess the Community practices on social
