TESDA Scholarship Program Affidavit
TESDA Scholarship Program Affidavit
Failing to comply with TESDA's document submission requirements can lead to sanctions on the training institutions as per current guidelines for TESDA Scholarship Programs and UTPRAS guidelines. This may include delayed processing of payments and potential audits or investigations into the legitimacy and proper execution of the training programs .
TESDA ensures compliance with industry and legal standards by mandating adherence to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 regarding the processing and security of personal information. It also requires the TESDA Provincial Office to conduct audits of at least 20% of scholars to verify the integrity of the training programs and their results. Furthermore, TESDA allows access to the Commission on Audit (COA) for spot audits, ensuring that the programs adhere to TESDA training regulations, registration protocols, and scholarship guidelines .
TESDA allows for adjustments to training schedules in cases of force majeure, requiring that any changes be submitted immediately after the occurrence of such events. This flexibility ensures that training programs can adapt to unforeseen circumstances while maintaining organizational and regulatory compliance .
TESDA ensures the validity and accuracy of submitted documents through a rigorous audit process, where TESDA and the Commission on Audit (COA) can conduct on-the-spot random audits and examinations. Furthermore, institutions are required to attest to the truthfulness of their submissions and are held liable for any findings of falsification or misrepresentation .
To ensure high completion and attendance rates, it is required that scholars are motivated and nurtured towards achieving 100% completion of the training program coupled with efforts to ensure 100% attendance at training sessions. Moreover, no additional fees should be charged to scholars beyond the program offerings, maintaining transparency and reducing barriers to successful completion .
Institutionalizing Job Linkaging and Networking Services (JoliNS) involves creating a delivery platform to facilitate job hunting for TVET graduates and alumni. It requires providing them with necessary services and information to improve their chances of securing employment. This includes maintaining an effective monitoring system to produce reliable employment status reports of scholar graduates .
TESDA provides financial support to scholars in the event of accidents during training by shouldering the expenses incurred. This ensures that scholars or their dependents receive adequate financial assistance, thereby reducing the financial burden on the individuals involved .
Post-training job placement for scholars is facilitated through the institutionalization of the Job Linkaging and Networking Services (JoliNS). This system serves as a platform providing TVET graduates with job-hunting services and pertinent employment information to aid in securing jobs aligned with their skills and training .
Institutions offering TESDA programs must maintain valid Certificates of TVET Program Registration (CTPR) or Certificate of Registration (COR). Additionally, they must prove their absorptive training capacity, which includes adequate facilities, tools, equipment, and qualified trainers for ongoing and existing scholarship programs .
The Provincial Office plays a pivotal role by coordinating the Training Induction Program before any training begins, ensuring the submission and verification of training schedules, and conducting random audits of the scholars. They are also responsible for evaluating compliance with program guidelines and examining documentation for payment processing .
