The pictures illustrate how the layout of the ground floor of a museum
underwent changes over a period of 20 years, from 1990 to 2010. In general, it
can be seen from the picture that the most significant change was the
development of some areas and the addition of new facilities. Besides, only two
areas remained unchanged after 2 decades.
Looking at the map in the details, the entrance was expanded in width from
1990 to 2010. On the left of this part, there was the reception counter attached
to the museum office, which was removed and enlarged to be separated from
the office after 20 years. It was also noticeable that the natural history room in
the middle left experienced no change. Moreover, in 1990, the gift shop was
located in the upper left corner of the map, but was converted into a cafe and
gift shop after 20 years. There was an addition of a lift between the cafe and
gift shop and the natural history room.
On the right-side of the maps,the local history room in the lower right corner
was unchanged. The statue, originally near the stairs at the top of the ground
floor, was moved to the center, while the stairs remained. In addition,
there was an archaeology gallery in the top right-hand of the picture was
accessible through the local history room or the main entrance in 1990,
but after 2 decades it was demolished to make way for the construction of a
children's interactive zone and a poster display.

The picture illustrates how sugar is made from sugar canes. Overall, there are
seven steps, which can be categorized into three stages, beginning with
cultivating sugar canes, followed by processing the juice and culminating with
ending product.
To start with, the farmers cultivates sugar canes, which need 12 to 18 months to
reach maturity. Once sugar cane is ripe for harvesting, they could be collected
by hand or by agricultural machinery. After that, the stalks are crushed by a
specialized machine, resulting in the extraction of raw sugar cane juice.
At the fourth step, the extracted juice is purified by a limestone filter, which is
subsequently heated by an evaporator at a high temperature, resulted in
condensed syrup. In the next stage, the syrup is pumped into a centrifuge so
that sugar crystals can be separated. After that, these these crystals are dried
and cooled before being ready to be used.
