I use it constantly throughout the day, every day. I check my emails when I get
up in the morning, I use it for study all day and then I watch videos, read books,
or listen to music through it at night.
2. What are your favorite websites?
Like any young person, surfing Facebook is also my cup of tea. It allows me to keep
in contact with my friends, and relatives and even suggests some funny pages to
loosen up.
3. Do you do any shopping on the internet?
I suppose on a monthly basis. I don’t usually shop on the internet, but I’m
an impulse shopper so whenever I have my eye on an item, I buy it without a
second thought.
4. Do people in your country use the Internet a lot?
Absolutely yes. I think people use it all the time for different purposes. Some people
use it for their work like checking emails or doing research, while kids use it to learn
faster and watch cartoons. Teenagers prefer it for keeping in contact with their
friends and playing games.
5. What do you use the Internet for?
The Internet is one of the widest sources of knowledge. Therefore I use it to look up
information, conduct research, and access educational resources. Also, I usually
scroll through all my social accounts and watch some random funny clips, which
helps me unwind after a long day of hard work.
6. How did you learn how to use the Internet?
I started learning how to use the Internet when I was about fourteen years old. My
father bought me a new laptop and guided me to make a Google account. I
remember getting fascinated by all the things I could explore online, especially the
games and educational websites.
7. How do you go onto the Internet?
I frequently find solace in the comfort of my home, where the familiar glow of screens
brings me a sense of ease. Each morning, after enjoying a hearty breakfast, I
immerse myself in the internet. It's during these moments that I dive into my studies.
8. What are the good and bad points about the Internet?
The Internet is fantastic for instant information access, connecting with friends
globally, and online learning. However, it poses challenges like misinformation,
privacy concerns, and digital addiction. It's a double-edged sword, offering
immense benefits but also raising important issues we need to navigate in the digital
age.
9. Do you think the use of the Internet needs to be controlled?
I don’t think so. A free and open Internet supports innovation and sharing ideas.
When there are restrictions, creativity can be limited, making it harder to find new
solutions to social problems.

I frequently use Duolingo, a helpful language-learning platform. It offers a
variety of languages, from popular ones like Spanish and English to less
common ones like Urdu and Welsh.
I stumbled upon Duolingo a couple of years ago while I was searching for
resources to help me improve my English skills. I had heard friends talk about
it, and when I checked it out, I was immediately drawn to the vibrant design and
gamified learning approach. It was so different from the traditional methods I
used in school.
What I really appreciate about Duolingo is its ability to customize my learning
experience. It allows me to set goals and track my progress effectively. I can
practice reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills all in one convenient
platform. Additionally, the website includes a social aspect where I can compete
with friends and join various communities, which makes the learning journey
even more engaging.
I find Duolingo very useful because it turns language learning into a daily habit
without feeling like a chore. Overall, it's a fantastic tool that makes learning my
language skills enjoyable and effective.

I believe children should not use the Internet without parental guidance. The
Internet is a valuable source of information and entertainment, but it also has
harmful content that can hurt children psychologically. Therefore, parents
should set strict controls on their children's browsing activities. This will
help monitor what they see online and block inappropriate content.
3. Do you think many people waste their time online?
Many people waste time online due to distractions like social media,
entertainment, and games. While some online activities can be productive,
others lead to procrastination. It's easy to lose track of time scrolling or
binge-watching, which can negatively impact productivity and well-being if
not managed properly.
4. Is the information on the Internet reliable?
The reliability of information on the Internet is a complex issue that varies
greatly. Not all information online is trustworthy because anyone can share
content. Therefore, users must critically assess the reliability of the
information they encounter. This can be achieved by evaluating the
credibility of the sources, checking the author's qualifications, and cross-
referencing facts from multiple sources.
