The present perfect tense is used to talk about:

 Actions that happened at an unspecified time in the past but are important now.

 Actions that started in the past and continue into the present.

Subject + have/has + past participle (verb-3 form)

Subject have/has Past Participle

3. When to Use the Present Perfect:

 Actions that continue until now: When something started in the past and is still happening
now.

an effect now.

o Example: "She has just finished her homework."
