OMEGA Ministry Summer Events 2012
Family Retreat (Rising 6th-12th) Summer retreat is another exciting time for us to get together. This will be great time for us to bond as a group and grow spiritually. We will have a family retreat this year. We will go to the same retreat site at the same date, but we will have separate programs and worship services for youth students.

SPY 11 (Rising 8th-12th) SPY is Summer Project for Youth in Christiansburg, VA hosted by Fieldstone UMC. This is an outreach program which the students are going to participate in repairing houses/churches, have fun, and have fellowship with youth students from other United Methodist churches.
When: July 28th - August 3rd Where: Christiansburg, VA Who: Rising 8th-12th Grades. Limited to 13 students Cost: $350 per student Registration Due: March 11, 2012 (please complete the reg. form & turn in $75 non-refundable deposit) * Deposit $75 due at the registration (before March 1st). After March 1st, you need to deposit $200 which includes the 2nd payment ($125).
Mexico Mission Mission team to our Nathaniel Mission center, Yucatan, MX. We will join the adult mission team to support the medical mission and run a VBS. Also, we will have opportunities to experience and learn local cultures and participate in outreach programs.

Harvest of Hope Harvest of Hope (HoH) is the ecumenical study, worship, and action mission trip program of the Society of St. Andrew. HoH offers opportunities to learn about hunger and a common sense solution (gleaning) to the issue. Together we will glean fresh fruits and vegetables which will immediately, through the help of local feeding agencies, find their way onto the tables of those in need. A simple, healthy lifestyle will be experienced during the event. We will worship together, exploring what God wants us to do concerning our neighbors who are in need. Join us and do something

YI: Youth Initiative 12
Youth Initiative is a Youth Student Leaders Conference which is hosted by Korean/Korean-American Caucus of UMC. The purpose of this conference is to equip student leaders from various local churches in the States. During the conference, the students will participate in worship services, workshops, presentations, and small group activities. Date: July 21st - 25th, 2012 Where: Emory University (Atlanta, GA) Who: Rising 10-12th Grades. Limited to 8 students. Volunteers for Childrens Ministry Vacation Bible School (VBS) Childrens Ministry (S.E.E.D. Ministry) is going to host Vacation Bible Study this summer.
