Resources can be defined as the important assets that required for
successfully completion of a project task or project.
Those resources are;
1. Human Resource
2. Physical Resource
3. Capital

▪ Team resources or personnel refer to the
man. Also know as the human resource.
▪ Personnel may have varied skill sets, may
be assigned full- or part time, and may be
added or removed from the project team
as the project progresses.
▪ There are three management levels in
human resource management.

▪ Also known as the physical resources.
▪ Equipment, material and facilities refers to the
material.
▪ Variety of materials, equipment and facilities are
required depending on the project nature.

▪ Financial resources required for starting project and continue construction project
refers to capital/money.
▪ There are several funding arrangements based on the formation of partnership
external organizations,
Private Finance Initiative (PFI)
Public Private Partnership (PPP)

Land
▪ Land is a natural resource that supply the spaces
required for construction of a project and production of
material.
▪ Land is a scare commodity.
▪ Several considerations should be given in land
selection for construction – value of land, soil
conditions and availability of utility services etc.

Technology
▪ Technology refers the collection of innovative tools,
techniques, machineries and methods that enhance
productivity.
▪ Construction technology updates time to time.
▪ Several considerations should be given in technology
application for construction – experts for technology
application, availability of technology and affordability
