TASK PERFORMANCE: Tourism Plan Proposal


Instructions:
1. Work with your team to accomplish the following:
• Pick a tourism destination (within your area only) and determine which tourism development
theory, planning platform, and approach are suitable for its development.
• Submit a written output containing the following:
o Title page
o Description of the chosen tourism destination
o Description of the following:
 Chosen tourism development theory
 Chosen tourism planning platform
 Chosen tourism planning approach
o Explanation and justification on why the tourism development theory, planning
platform, and approach were chosen
o References in American Psychological Association (APA) format.
• The contents of your output should be compiled in a blue/yellow folder.
2. The format for the written output should be:
• Font: Arial or Calibri
• Font Size: 12
• Double Space
3. A PowerPoint presentation is required for this activity to serve as a visual aid for the audience. This is
to present the content of your output to the instructor and other students and encourage discussions
on the subject of the research.
4. Your group will be graded based on the following rubric:
