I. Introduction
The Filipino Values Month celebration in December
centered on the fundamental principles of human rights. This
activity aimed to instill awareness among students regarding
their rights and responsibilities as individuals, as well as the
importance of respecting the rights of others. By
understanding human rights, students were encouraged to
uphold fairness, equality, and justice in their daily lives.

Through a meaningful discussion, students were introduced


to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its
relevance to their experiences at home, in school, and within
their communities. The activity served as an avenue to
promote empathy, social responsibility, and a commitment to
advocating for the dignity and rights of all individuals.

The Filipino Values Month activity was
Brief Description of the PPAs conducted through a brief discussion held after
the flag ceremony, allowing students to engage
in learning without disrupting class schedules.
The 5 to 10-minute session covered essential
human rights topics, focusing on equality,
fairness, and the importance of respecting
others. Teachers and student leaders facilitated
the discussion, using relatable examples to help
students understand the real-life application of
human rights.
The discussion was conducted during the flag
ceremony in December.

All students from Kindergarten to Grade 6
