Daily Schedule for STP Operator

Morning Tasks:

1. Check both STP plant machines to ensure they are operating properly.
2. Add the following chemicals:
o Equalization Tank: 5 kg of Augment.
o Aeration Tank:
 5 kg of Augment.
 2 kg of Urea.
 500 g of NPK/DAP.
3. Inspect the chlorine drum:
o Verify the chlorine level.
o If low, refill the drum.
4. Take a sample of wastewater from the aeration tank and fill it in a beaker:
o Wait for 30 minutes.
o Take a picture of the beaker after 30 minutes and send it to the Engineer.

Backwash Procedure (Every 8 Hours):

1. Perform backwash for 30 minutes:


o Turn off the filter feed pump.
o Close the required valves.
o Turn on the filter feed pump.
2. Adjust chlorine dosing during backwash:
o Increase chlorine dosing to 100%.
o Switch to "Hand Mode."
3. After backwash:
o Reduce chlorine dosing to 45%.
o Switch back to "Auto Mode."

Picture Documentation:

1. Take pictures of the following tanks and send them to the Engineer:
o Equalization Tank.
o Aeration Tank.
o Settling Tank.
o Treated Water Tank.

Reporting and Maintenance:

1. Report any problems or issues immediately to the Engineer.


2. Ensure the plant is running smoothly throughout the day.

Important: This schedule must be followed daily to ensure optimal plant operations.
