Process Review for Network Funtime Company

At Network Funtime Company, here are some areas where we can improve our IT processes.

1. Laptop Buying: When HR buys laptops, they should check with the IT person (that's me!) to
choose the right models. We want to avoid buying the cheapest laptops because they may not
work well. It's important to get laptops that are good for everyone and won't cause problems
later.

2. Labeling Computers: We need to start labeling our computers so we can keep track of them.
This way, if a computer goes missing or gets stolen, we can find out. We don't have an inventory
system right now, but it would be helpful to know what computers we have.

3. Onboarding Process: When a new employee starts, I can set up their laptop for them. This
way, they don't have to do it themselves, and we can make sure everything is set up correctly. It
saves time and makes sure they can start working right away.

4. Help Requests: Instead of emailing HR for help, we should have a central place where
employees can ask for help. It could be a help desk or a ticketing system. This way, we can
keep track of all the requests and make sure they get answered on time.

5. Passwords: We need to have a policy for passwords. Everyone should choose strong
passwords to keep their computers safe. If someone forgets their password, they should be able
to reset it without having to start all over again.

By making these changes, we can make our IT processes better and more organized. It might
take some time to get used to these new ways of doing things, but in the end, it will help us work
more efficiently and keep our computers secure.
