Chapter 2: Stella

Academy’s Finest

After a long time of being dragged up to 3

sets of stairs, Tsubame takes a quick
breath from keeping up with Jay’s pace of
running as they were to the door of the
Council Board. Jay looked to Tsubame
twice and as he saw her tired condition, he
finally realized what he had done. He went
to Tsubame’s aid who had been supporting
herself with the end of the stairs with her
left hand and held her right hand, making
her flush a little red to her cheeks. Jay held
her hand passionately and looked to her
scarlet red eyes worriedly, “I’m so sorry for
making you run so fast upstairs Tsubame I
was just too excited to see the SC body this
year.” said Jay. Tsubame smiled, “It’s ok J
it is cool.” Inside Tsubame’s mind, chaos
struck, “[That stupid liar wants me to play
along with this and still ignore my
question.]” Tsubame said. “Hehehe…good
then.” said Jay, “So are we gonna open the
door OR?” asked Jay. Tsubame stood up,
back with a bit of energy, taking Jay in a
sneeze of laughter, however he did not
reciprocate but instead, kept a straight
face from the final pant, making Tsubame
look to him angrily, “You know it’s not
funny though you should stop it, your
running is over-athletic.” Tsubame looked
to Jay with a bit of worry showing her face,
“I’m even shocked how you haven’t
summoned your energy yet you’re 16 now,
worse if you can’t how’re you gonna
master Series Techniques?” she questioned
Jay and herself. Jay, looking a bit fuzzed,
scratched his head and nervously made a
loud ‘Uhh…’ , before an active question
came out of his mouth, “What’re Series
Techniques?” he asked with a low-voice of
unknowing, “Sorry if it’s annoying that I
don’t know.” said Jay with a low-
melancholy voice. Tsubame shook her
hands haphazardly in defense as she tried
to explain to Jay, “No Jay don’t blame
yourself, I didn’t even know about them
from yesterday so I’ll tell you, I’m willing
to.” she said with a delicate voice that
seemed to cheer up Jay. “Alright, Series are
a number of destructive, defensive and
rejuvenative attacks that one can master
only applied by the energy he emits.
Ordinarily, the old days made moves that
were only named what one created only
but that was like in 2000 or so.” Tsubame
rose her hand and squeezed it with
compassion, “Now anyone can make a
series of their own and it can be known
around, like copyright. So if someone emits
the same energy and does your move but
names it differently, they can be
subjugated in jail because of that.” she
said. “But if I use a different energy and
make a move similar, no one will take me
to jail right?” asked Jay standing proud
and confident with his answer. Tsubame
smiled, “Close enough…but yeah,” she said
teasingly giggling, “Now shall we go to
the…” Before Tsubame finished her words,
a punch is seen landing in Jay’s face,
hitting him to a wall and making her gasp.
To her front were 2 pple, dressed like ninja;
one with a full black outfit with green
stripes and the other the same full black
but with pink stripes. They had nothing but
their fists for weapons as they seemed to
be defending Tsubame.
One with a little boy’s voice said, “Don’t
worry vice-prez, we’ll protect you from this
monster.” Tsubame looked at him angrily,
“Why’d you attack him?! That’s my friend
you tried to knock out. Oh my he’s going to
be so pissed when he gets up.” Tsubame
said. The girl in pink laughed, “Yeah right
like he could, he’s got nothing but human
energy in him, what can he possibly do to
us?” she said. “Huh you ask such a
question why don’t I just show you?” To
their backs, Jay appeared, his eyes showing
a person who has been purely annoyed
despite his expressionless face kept. He
then proceeded on releasing a fist at the 2.
The girl went in front, “Veil Series: Sworn
to Protect!” she shouted and on that
moment, a protective ward was formed in
front of her such that Jay’s fist was
reflected. Then, the boy summoned his
energy, “Deem Series: Reluctant Sprawl.”
The boy said and there, a deem lighting
beam blasted at Jay, making him cough
out blood and taking him to a wall.
Tsubame looked with worry to Jay’s zone
as dust undulated around however, the 2
ninjas did not allow her to move further.
Suddenly, to Jay’s zone, his aura took a
surprising boost of energy, as Jay stood up
stretching up. Blood was to his chin as he
smiled, shocking even Tsubame herself.
The double ninjas rushed at Jay, “Deem
Series: Rapid Sprawl.” he said and there, a
spinning like random attack rushed at Jay,
hoping to strike. “Veil Series: Ceremonial
Prism.” she said as she began to form a veil
around the 3 of them. Jay looked unfazed
and rose his hand, somehow, a blue light
began to form, creating enough electrons
to create a lightning bolt. He intertwined
his fingers and released them, forming fist
which were charged with lightning energy.
“Inter-cloud Series: Plasma Fists.” he said
with a low-voice and there, he swayed his
fists, creating lightning fist from afar that
struck the 2 ninjas. He played a smile on
that moment and all of a sudden, two
lightning bolts from out of the blue struck
them from above and from all their sides,
striking the 2 to walls. Jay looked to the 2
approaching them as if they were under
him and went to Tsubame, who was in
shock, “[Damn I just revealed my secret
huh? I thought I could keep it for a moment.
‘Sighs’ cos the truth is I can summon my
energy……the only reason I lied was
because, I wanted to live a normal life and
not use my power for destructive or
adaptive reason.] Hey Tsubame are you
ok?” Jay asked Tsubame with a caring look
that made her blush, “Yes…yes I’m ok but
are you?” she asked. Jay responded by
looking away, “Yes never could’ve been
better. [For the past years, I’ve been hiding
this side of mine. One I might call
monstrous and deadly. But now…Tsubame
knows about it though I’m actually happy
that she was the 1st at this school that I
care about who knows.]” Jay said.
Tsubame smiled compassionately, “Alright
then tough guy, you better 1st explain this
to me right now. I thought you said you
couldn’t summon energy.” she said pouting.
Jay nervously laughs, “[Wait that was not
the expression I was waiting for…I thought
she’d call me a liar] Alright where should I
start? Hmmm…what about…” Before Jay
was about to finish what he was about to
say, a sword cut his words which he
somehow sensed and dodged it before it
sliced him in half. He moved back as
Tsubame was still in shock from what had
happened this 2nd time. The ninjas were up
standing among 1 tall man holding the
sword. He had long black hair that swayed
around and brown lighting eyes that
showed his sharpness. He wore a green
and red kimono that was long enough to
reach to his feet. The sword he held, was
the same length as the wielder as the
wielder swayed the sword around, ready
to attack like a master.
Tsubame knew who it was and looked to
him, who looked back at her, seemingly in
a charming way, “President Ryota...” she
said with a low-voice. Ryota looked at
Tsubame and smiled, “Missed me already
my VP?” Ryota asked. Tsubame looked
away, “Could you stop attacking my friend,
he is not a threat.” she said. Ryota laughed,
“Oh I’m not attacking your friend, I’m just
gonna test him.” he said putting his sword
back in its holder. Jay scoffed at Ryota and
rushed at him for landing a fist, however,
he easily dodged the attack, as Jay
expected. Jay counterattacked with a
spinning kick that struck Ryota’s head
down. This however, did not affect him as
he proceeded on pulling out his sword and
drawing it near Jay’s neck, which Jay
nearly almost got caught in it however he
jumped at a near dodge. Ryota smiled and
looked at Jay, “Heh…you almost got killed
on that time huh?” he said. Jay scoffed,
“What do you want from me and just
where did you come from?” he asked his 2
questions while standing. Ryota scratched
his head and smiled, “You’re the last born
of the Combat Family correct?” Ryota
asked. Jay responded with a little weird
face, “Yes…how did you know and just how
is it applying to here?” Jay asked. Ryota
sighed with a deep breath, “You don’t get
it do you? You’re blessed to be the
youngest, getting all that power. So I’d like
to see your strength, I alone. It seems like
you’ve been hiding something even
Tsubame never could read. A dark secret
too complex,” he smiled menacinly at
James, creeping at him, “What are you
hiding about your true self?” asked Ryota.
The moment Jay heard that question, small
visions were seen of his past and on that
moment causing intense frustration
building up in Jay’s body as he built up a
great monstrous aura that he released the
moment he stomped and rushed in front of
Ryota with unseen able speed, shocking
Tsubame and Ryota. However before Jay
was to land a great damaging attack

“Enough!” A woman voice was heard

shouting those words and on that moment,
Jay is seen on the ground, knocked out
unconscious but no blood was dripped on
the ground from the outstanding attack
that caused a great crack on the ground
from Jay’s fainted zone. Ryota looked up
and sighed as he put back his sword into
it’s holder, “You just had to arrive right
now when everything just starts to be fun
huh?”
In front of Ryota stood a strong and hot
lady. She had beautiful lighting yellow eyes
that illuminated its color quite further and
short dark purple hair that was tied to the
sides. She stood tall with the most
beautiful body that showed all its curves
by her tight blue dress that covered her
whole body as she wore a beautiful
necklace of silver that shined.

The woman smiled, “The boy was going

against the school rules,” she looked at
Tsubame who looked away from her,
“Lady Tsubame you’ve got a lot of
explaining to do right now.” she said.
Tsubame responded, “The Student Council
junior tiers were trying to attack Jay here
so Jay used his energy when they used
theirs. Then President Ryota here was
about to commit to his murder and
taunted my friend. I guess it was just self-
defense working here, Mrs Yoshida.”
Tsubame said in defense. Ryota looked
defenseless and sighed from what
Tsubame said, “Yeah right, the same guy
who pounced on ME! The king.” said Ryota.
Tsubame coughed, “Since when did people
start calling you that?” she asked
mockingly. Ryota got angry as Mrs Yoshida
laughed. Then, he proceeded on explaining
what he was doing.
The woman there, is Yoshida Linda and
apparently, that’s the principal of the
school. Having to have such a higher
standard and rank in the school, she
maintains and prioritizes the school’s rules
and regulations to protect Stella Academy.
She’s also single so…yh.
After telling the principal of the school his
report, Hirona looked to Jay, “So he’s the
youngest of the Combat Family huh…he
looks so……so…handsome!” she squealed
in happiness, making the 2 Student Council
members laugh nervously, dumbfounded
by her happiness. “Take him into the
Council Board, he’ll talk with you guys in
there.” Hirona said. Ryota responded with
a nod but Tsubame went against it, “What
about President Winters, do you think
she’ll agree to this?” asked Tsubame, “My
friend here has a big mouth full of truthful
words and all so…it might get hasty in
there.” Hirona smiled, “Don’t worry I’m
sure she’ll find a way to get along with him
right after all, he’s the Combat’s last born,
he won’t have less than 2 or more words to
say.” she said. Tsubame cleared her throat,
“If you say so, Pr. Yoshida.” said Tsubame
and with that, Hirona left the area with
Ryota and Tsubame along with Jay’s
unconscious body and the 2 questionable
ninjas to the wall, “So did the vice-prez
order this attack too?” asked Tsubame.
Ryota smiled, “Well he collaborated with
me so…I can’t say.” he responded.
Tsubame rolled her eyes, spiking sad
shocks into Ryota’s spine, “Whatever, let’s
just take Jay into the Board.” Tsubame said
and there, the 2 carried Jay from each end
of his body, as they entered with him into
the room known as the Student Council
Body’s Board Room.
