Community Action:
We organized a community awareness campaign in Askari XI, focusing on poverty
alleviation in Pakistan. This included conducting interviews, creating posters, and hosting a
public session at our school to educate people about poverty statistics and solutions.
Global Issue:
The global issue we focused on was poverty, specifically in Pakistan, where it leads to other
societal problems like crime and lack of access to education and healthcare.
1(a) Two Reasons for Choosing This Global Issue:
1. Poverty is a root cause of many problems in Pakistan. (1) It leads to crime, illiteracy,
and poor health, which affect the entire community. (1)
2. We wanted to help the impoverished class in our community. (1) By understanding
their struggles, we could raise awareness and encourage others to take action. (1)
