• Introducing the Concept of Soul:

o In this world there are 2 things : Jada & Chetan
§ We are aware of our presence.

· Ant can move around even on top of stone, it has free will, consciousness and choice.

o What makes the Chetan different from Jada?
§ Where ever there is life force there are 3 things :
· Perception , Mental Activity, Purposeful action
® e.g. Snake :
◊ Perception – Seeing a snake
◊ Mental activity – you know that snake bites & it would be fatal
◊ Purposeful action – you beat it with a stick or run away
 ® If snake climbs a table, the table will not act in the similar way.
® Another e.g.: Seeing Gulab jamun, remembering it’s taste & wishing to eat it, and finally eating it.

• Many preachers think that this is an easy or simple session.
○ It's deceptively simple one but has a very vital lesson for all the students.
○ There is a whole Upanishad devoted to making the living being understand : WHO IS THE OWNER OF THE UNIVERSE?
§ Even if you go to purchase a land, you find every piece of land is accounted for in somebody's name.
§ You see any object, First Q - Whom does it belong?
□ Owner of the house - You have to take permission for doing anything in the universe.
□ When we go to any house, we ask 3 Qs -
i. Who has created the house ?
ii. Who is maintaining the house ?

} What's the salary/income of the boy? - How will he maintain himself and his family?

○ e.g. If you get electric shock, whoever touches you gets a shock. Similarly you become happy by connecting to the ocean of happiness - God.

• Both Science & Vedas want to remove sufferings. Let’s Compare Science & Vedic Solutions. But what are the problems in life?

1. Intro:
• In this world, we can observe a very strong principle called attraction.
§ e.g.-
□ ant -sugar
□ iron-magnet
□ parent-children
□ male-female (often between members of the same species)
□ Parents- Children
□ Puppy dog - mother dog
□ Grandparents- children
§ Senses are attracted to their respective objects
□ Eyes- forms, ears- sounds, nose-fragrance, tongue- delicacy, skin -soft objects
§ It's observable and experiential, not theory.
• Based on this principle of attraction, there is Love
§ Love for Pizza, burger, Gulab-jamun…
§ e.g. pineapple juice (somebody likes), apple juice(somebody likes), mango juice (everyone likes)
§ Attraction leads to Love and Love leads to Happiness
§ Since attraction is leading to Ananda, we want to prolong it and make it everlasting.
• Let's understand how to achieve everlasting love

Another way to introduce:

• In this world, we hear a buzz word called LOVE
§ Love novels, Love movies, broken love, can they be repaired, etc….
• Love someone, Love somehow - A feeling of the heart
• Sometimes the love ends in broken love

§ Kris – to attract ; na – Gives Happiness
§ I don’t feel attracted to Krishna
○ There is alternate attraction (to Maya)

○ Those who are naturally attracted to Krishna, they stay in Spiritual World, if not then in the m/l world there can be many attractions based on the body
(human-human,)
○ So when original attraction (to God/Krsna) is lost, there is alternative attraction (to Maya)
· Don’t fear to give the Jail example (law breaker – law abider)
§ If not, quote this example:
○ This world is like hospital
○ Everyone is here to cure their disease of enjoying mentality

○ Father is providing for the son, if son aligns with father’s plan he becomes happy, if one son does not align then he suffers.
○ BG teaches us to align with God

- The process of pleasing/ serving that supreme is yajna

· Every living being loves someone and wants to be loved

i. Dharma - Nature
§ e.g. Sugar - Sweetness, Water- Liquidity, Fire - Heat and light
ii. Dharma of the Soul is to love and serve God
iii. But we have forgotten it right now.
§ Red hot coal covered by ashes. Blow on it. See fire.
§ Iron nails covered by rust does not get attracted to the magnet. Remove the rust and it's attracted to the magnet.
§ Hanuman serves Rama, Garuda serves Narayana, Arjuna serves Krsna, We should also serve the Lord.
b. Eternal Sanatan Dharma
· Sanatan Dharma - Eternal Dharma - Not Hinduism.
§ Hindu word is not there anywhere in the Vedas.
· We are in a state of spiritual Amnesia - Complete memory loss of our real identity.
· We are supposed to love and serve God, but now we have forgotten…
§ We come to this world and have got local parents, temporary relationships.
§ RK, Laxmi Narayana, Sita-Rama are our global mother & father.
· Different centeredness:
§ People after forgetting relationship with God, center their life to these temporary relationships/possessions only.
§ Sometimes they have forgotten the original relationship so much that they claim themselves to be God.
○ Krsna is always God (not by meditation, endeavour, Tapasya)
○ e.g. - Vishwarupa Darshan, Govardhana Lifting, Killing Putana as an infant baby
§ Anybody claims to be God, He is a cheater
<we need not say them to not follow bogus guru, this statement itself speaks for it>

1. Temp Nature of the M/l World

○ Changing cinema song after hearing for a few time

○ First one to put feet on Mt. Everest - after some time when you are in the new body, you don’t even remember it.

- If there is something as mirage , the real water must be somewhere. Lake’s existence is confirmed by mirage
- Fake currency note confirms real currency note
- Hence, m/l world proves the existence of spiritual world.
§ Supply of necessities in nature:
- We are hungry, food is there, Thirsty - Water is there, Heat - Sun is there, Ideal Leader - God and His rep are there.
- We are hankering for three things
® Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya
◊ Eternal existence seeking - Plants growing towards sun in a room.
® Knowledge seeking - even a child wishes to acquire knowledge through so many inquiries
® Happiness seeking - Every living being is ultimately happiness seeking
- WE have these three needs, since soul is sac cid ananda…
- There must be a place where these needs are fulfilled completely - Proves the existence of Sp. World.

4. Why does the soul leave the spiritual world and come to this M/l world?

· In a state, there are law abiders and law breakers.

· Because of our turning away from God, we came to this m/l world.
· Why did He not keep us in the sp world forcefully?
§ Free Will: Love can't be forced, Similarly God does not force anybody to remain in the sp world.

§ It's short session, but for Intellectuals - It can be a game changer in their life. - They may take KC very seriously.
• Creating hunger in the beginning of any lecture is very important.

○ e.g. Science of Soul : What is the proof of soul’s existence ? Only BG speaks or scientist also believe ? Only Indians know or others too? Let's find
out in today's discussion…
○ e.g. Session on existence of God: DO only religious people believe in God or educated scientist can also believe? Does this universe need to have
a master above? In today’s discussion we shall scientifically see about God.

○ Making people atheists : there is no opportunity to learn about religion due to ‘secularism’
§ In USA : Case on Darwin – Church won ; Bible was given No objection in all schools, but was not forced.
b. Scriptures based on audience; Logic of mathematics
§ So many similarities, but there are considerable differences. Why?
○ Logic of Mathematics
® Big big 'S's ( ∫ ) - Integration - RSP was frightened in Childhood. Father - You'll slowly understand.
® Give elementary school child an Engg. Maths book, he/she may run away.
§ Mathematics is same but for different levels of audiences.
§ Similarly, different religions give allowances/concessions for regulative principles like Meat Eating.
○ There is some restriction put to make people follow the scriptures and gradually lead them to highest stage. (NO meat eating in this case)
○ Concession is given in order to avoid them becoming atheistic
§ Although they may seem to differ in details, but all of them are trying to restrict meat eating
○ ISLAM - Concept of Halal(way of sacrifice - give 7 parts in charity) Vs Haram(just slaughter animals and eat them)
® Except pig/dog they eat others.
® They cut animal & pour down all blood, so that animal does not feel more pain, distributes 7 parts & accept 1 part for eating.
 ® If Cow worth 80,000/- , you eat only 10,000/- worth – So people later give up the whole meat eating business.

2. Sanatana Dharma vs other religions

Q/A:

1. What abt SP Video. Generally we introduce SP in Sankalpa Camp?

Ans:
o In DYS level, we say that we take inspiration from SP/ISKCON. If we are doing session for outside living boys, there is no need to hide. In Sankalpa,
we show the "Your Ever Well-wisher" video & ask 3 questions.
o Goodwill of ISKCON is increasing, so now it's not a problem
o We can present it later on in VOICE, if not in Parivartan Camp.
o Our Goal is very clear: we want to make Krishna’s devotees.
o There are 1000s of videos on YT for motivation, but we are very clear. Soul’s real happiness is in connection with God. Ex: ret hot coal partical
coming out.
o Those who are willing to pay the price of sincerity will stay on…
2. DYS Book can be given?
Ans. The content 80% is same. We are trying to bring out 1 pocket books per session. One side there is slide & other side there will be explanation.
There will be inbuilt Quiz (MCQs) too. Even if the preachers are not carrying Laptops, just with pocket book, they can give seminar. Give out the book,
have session & take it back. (ex. HGRSP’s session @ Magarpatta, session on Stress to Smile)
3. Any Guidelinnes/modification for Grhastha preaching?
Ans:
o 80-90 % is same.
o Some scientific slides are there but even a 11 th std students can understand this, and most often Grhasthas are coming from educated
backgrounds, So NO PROBLEM.
o Liquid beauty story - give e.g. of attachment of Dhrtarashtra to Duryodhana - we are not condemning affection but attachment.
o In the DYS session for conveying miseries, there was ex of Buddha story
