 Punctuation mark is used to make a complete sentence. It helps to express the
writer’s thoughts and feelings clearly and meaningfully.

 The period (.) is used to mark the end of a simple statement or a command.

Ex:
I am going to attend a concert.
This is a beautiful painting.
Drink your milk.
Do your homework.

 The question mark (?) is used to ask questions.

Ex:
What is your name?
How are you?
When is your birthday?

 Exclamation mark (!) is used when a sentence expresses a deep sudden emotion.

Ex:
Oh, that’s a huge building!
You won the prize!
Wow, you are a great singer!
Ouch, that really hurts!

When you write a sentence, you use the right punctuation mark. Start your sentence with a
capital letter and use capital letter when using a proper noun.

d. Application

Direction: I will show them a picture of punctuation marks. All they need to do is to form a
sentence
