How long have you been serving as a barangay official?
Answer: 2018-2023 first elected as barangay captain
What are the biggest challenges you face in your role as a barangay official?
Answer: During covid-19, people's attitude is one of the problems we had because we
need to gain their trust in order for them to follow the rules for their safety during the
pandemic. Also, during typhoons, houses are damaged real hard, which made others
push themselves hard for them to receive relief goods and financial help from the
government.
How does the barangay communicate important information to residents?
Answer: Through barangay officials such as BHW (Barangay Health Workers) and
barangay kagawads. They go door to door, especially if the information is about health;
also, each zone or area has elected kagawads in order for the information to be
disseminated quickly. Now that we live in modern technology, we post the information in
the barangay info center so that people can see it immediately.

Answer: 2018-present
What are the biggest challenges you face in your role as a barangay official?
Answer: As a brgy official the biggest challenges that I faced during the pandemic era.
As a frontliners, we need to implement rules and regulations and protocols strictly and
facing different people risking ourselves that we might be infected of that deadly virus.
How does the residents voice their concerns and feedback?
Answer: Through Brgy Assembly meeting, wherein the people can voice out their
concerns. And also some other associations or organizations of different sectors (e.g.
senior citizen, womens, PYAP, 4ps) held meetings. And brgy hall is always happy to
accomodate concerns and feedbacks of our constituents during office hours. And they
may contact the brgy thru the FB page of the brgy.

How long have you been serving as a barangay official?
Answer: I’ve been serving as a Barangay Kagawad for 15 years. I finished my 3 terms and
now became a Barangay kagawad again.
What are the biggest challenges you face in your role as a barangay official?
Answer: I encountered different problems but I managed how to handle this kind of
situations. Especially the issues about misunderstanding of both parties/families about
their problems. I always try my best that our community deserves peace and unity.
Addressing these challenges often requires a combination of good leadership,
continuous learning, collaboration with other government units, and the support of the
community itself.
How does the residents voice their concerns and feedback?
Answer: The residents are required to voice out their opinions and suggestions during
the Barangay Assembly but some residents have issues and concerns, directly go to the
Barangay Officials to solve the situation.

Answer: If there is a fight going on some of the people will not listen to the barangay
kagawads.

Answer: Through barangay assembly where in they are voicing out their concerns in the
barangay.
